White List Faq

What is the TER White List??

Everyone talks about Blacklists. At TER, we prefer to be positive versus negative so we have created the White List. What is the White List? The White List is a list of providers who, after you have seen them, have personally vouched for you.

How can I see my own White List?

Go to account manager and click "My referrals"

If I am looking at somebody's White List, how do I know these providers are legitimate?

If you click on the provider's name, you can bring up their profile on TER. This will allow you to see how reputable the provider is, making that recommendation.

How can I see somebody else's White List?

Go to Reviews and click "Search White List" then type either the TER username or e-mail address and click "Submit."

What if I have seen a provider and I don't see her referral?

Don't worry about it too much. It does not necessarily mean that the provider would not have referred you. She just may not have had a chance to submit the referral or may not know how. If you believe that you deserve her referral you may want to e-mail a friendly note to encourage her to visit TER and submit one of you. If she doesn't know what the White List is, this could be the chance to explain it to her.

Where did my referral go?

One of two things has happened. Either the provider has been delisted or for some reason no longer wishes to vouch for you. Don't get too upset. It happens.

I'm a provider, how do I submit a referral?

Go to Reviews and click "Search White List" Type either the user name or e-mail address and click "Submit." When the user's White List appears, click on the button that says "Submit referral." It's that easy.

I'm a provider and would like to see which members I have referred.

If your username has been linked to your reviews, then go to Account Manager and click on "My Referrals." If your username has not been linked to your reviews, just contact us and ask for your username to be linked with your reviews. Make sure to include your username and the e-mail address or phone number on your reviews to make it easier for us to link them. We may take a day or two to get back to you.

I'm a provider and have submitted a referral of a member but now would like to retract it.

Go to Account Manager and click on "My referrals" and then find the member on your list of referrals and click the "Delete" button next to his username.

I am a member and I do not wish to participate in the White List. What do I do?

Go to your account manager and click on "edit my profile." Change "Show White list" to "no."

I am a provider and I don't see ANY of these buttons you are talking about.

If you do not see the buttons, it probably means that we don't know you are a provider. Just contact us and ask for your username to be linked with your reviews. Make sure to include your username and the e-mail address or phone number on your reviews to make it easier for us to link them. We may take a day or two to get back to you.

I do not submit reviews, how can I get referrals?

You do not need to have reviews. If you SEE a provider, she can give you her reference.

I am not a VIP member, can I still have referrals?

Yes, you may have referrals on your white list or if you are a provider you may submit referrals but as a Non-VIP you cannot check someone's White List to see if they have referrals.
