Jealousy is probably the wrong word. If the brevity of the "He's Okay" response signifies anything beyond what Cayden suggested (and I don't think it would under most circumstances) it would have to do with the Providers' competition for a finite client base. I can't imagine jealousy ever entering the picture

I have never had an issue giving references and similar to Cayden Vaughn, I will say "he's okay" if that's all that's needed to express the fact that he's safe. I will offer more, when necessary, but I always give references b/c there's no jealousy when it comes to clients (if we were talking about my boyfriend, that would be another story!).

However, angelexotic has thrown a wrench into this whole thread by admitting she hasn't given references or whitelists to guys she wants to keep to herself similar to her clients who want to keep her all to themselves, so your OP is a valid one.

It will be interesting to hear what other ladies think.

I once saw a provider say that she won't accept references from young, pretty providers.

Possibly a combination of both jealousy and insecurity.

She says on her site how she'll only accept other "mature and curvy" references and won't accept any provider references under the age of 30.

It makes no sense whatsoever to not accept a provider reference because of her age. If an established and well reviewed provider can confirm that a client she saw is safe, why does it matter if she is under 30? What matters is how established, reliable, and trustworthy that provider is.

I think it all depends on a ladies standards, and reasons for being here (whether it is a hobby, their lively hood or complete desperation) There are several things that are apparent when looking at a website that tell you those specific things. I am here purely because I choose to be. It isn't because of need, so my standards and preferences may be completely different then someone who is all business. I very much enjoy my friends and desire an emotional bond with them. So, I don't just accept a new friend just because they're not L.E. or didn't rob/hurt a reference. But, like I said..everyone's standards are different. I only see those I feel a connection with, so I am not comfortable with a vague response and someone who doesn't actually answer my questions.
