Review: Willow / Gabriela

Stimulated by TER reviews, at first I was disappointed she didn’t respond to my call, my text, or my email. I wanted to see her and it wasn’t until a couple days later that she responded to my email saying she’d been out of town and was just settling in again. From there on, it was pleasant and efficient, which I really enjoy. Her place is in a tiny part of San Diego I’d never been to before and I liked it because it was convenient, clean, quiet, and safe and, best of all, had great parking. She texted a confirmation early that morning, which was helpful, and I texted her when I got to the general address but received no response for five or so minutes. After about ten minutes after our appointment was to begin, I called and left a message that I had no idea what was going on but that I had a busy day ahead and had to return to it, as I didn’t hear from her. I drove away and was about to get on the freeway home when my phone rang and it was Willow apologizing for the confusion, saying that her smoke alarm had gone nuts and wouldn’t shut off and she’d been lost in the enterprise of trying to stop it. Only a minute away, I turned around and headed back. I’m glad I did.
