Review: Victoria Lane

General Details

Having heard excellent things about Ms. Lane, I had been meaning to see her for some time. Seemingly there always being, though, a pesky scheduling conflict (usually from my end) to impede our vis-à-vis I began to wonder if it just was not meant to be. But, as happens so often in life, just when you think the door of opportunity has officially closed you hear a knock when you least expect it. It’s funny how serendipity always trumps the most arduous of efforts. I was in the Twin Cities on a business trip that was approaching DEFCON-1 status on the Boring Barometer when I noticed that Ms. Lane had posted an add on TER informing her adoring public that she was visiting Minneapolis on this very date. My reaction: to quote Velma from Scooby Doo, JINKIES! I left her a voicemail that she promptly returned -- and, surprising, she even remembered my efforts on previous occasions to arrange a meeting with her. As it turned out, Victoria had time later on that unseasonably mild evening to finally me rencontrer a huis clos.
