This is one for the ages, but I will say BI ultimately made good after a series of issues that delayed my appointment for two days and wasted several hours of my time.
Initially, I had an appointment scheduled with Aria for Monday evening. I arrived, messaged that I was there, and received no response. I waited for about 30 minutes before finally leaving. About 10 minutes later, BI messaged me explaining that their internet had been down, which caused their messaging system to fail. I told them I would head back, but by then they said it was too late because she already had her next client on the way. At that point I was extremely frustrated. I had already driven all the way out there and lost a significant amount of time because of their issue, not mine.
After some back and forth, they agreed to have me see her after the next client, even though it would be much later than originally planned. So I stayed in the area waiting, only to then be messaged roughly 45 minutes later that the appointment had to be canceled due to a hotel issue. Needless to say, I was furious. They offered me a sizable discount to rebook for another day because they understood how badly my time had been wasted.
The next day, I rebooked and started heading to the hotel, only to receive another message saying they were still having hotel issues and were moving to a different location even farther away. I arrived, messaged that I was there, and once again received no response. I waited about 15 minutes past my scheduled time before finally hearing back that she was “getting ready.” After another 10 minutes, I was given the room number. I went upstairs, knocked several times, and still got no answer. At that point it became obvious Aria was completely unreliable and once again had wasted my time.
Maya offered one of the other providers at the hotel, but by then it was very late and she declined because she was already getting ready for bed. At that point I was beyond aggravated, and Maya and I had a heated exchange over the situation.
What made this even more frustrating is that this was not the first time I’ve had issues with BI. In the past, I’ve dealt with wrong hotel information, providers deciding not to work that day without anyone notifying me, and even being double-booked with another customer. Considering their locations are usually 30 to 40 minutes away from me — and even longer with traffic — these repeated issues become a major inconvenience and waste of my time.
That said, I will give credit where it’s due: Maya has always been generous in trying to make up for the inconveniences, which is the main reason I’ve continued to use BI despite the repeated problems.
Thankfully, I finally scheduled an appointment the following day with Sora, and I’m happy to say that one actually happened and everything went smoothly.
