Review: Kate Bishop

General Details

Kate Bishop, independent companion from that greater New York City region known as the Tri-State area, posted an ad to the Boston board one day in mid February of 2006 as I was scanning the first page. I saw it, went to her website, liked her story, and bookmarked her site.

An hour later, Kate's post was gone. The chance that I would have seen her post was small. The serendipity of my discovery of her post, and the illusion of Kate as an elusive woman, spurred me to write to Kate and ask about her vanishing post. She had no more idea than I why her ad evaporated, but assured me her planned visit to Boston was real.

To be brief, Kate's subsequent posts did stay put on the Boston board. After she got to know me, and we planned a Boston date, Kate gave me her cell phone number for use on our day of meeting.

Kate did get up to Boston, although not until the end of April, and then only for coffee with me at a Starbucks. Her hotel had fumbled Kate's reservation. (Read Kate's blog to learn more.)

Finally, in mid May, Kate got to Boston again. She had a nice room in a good hotel. I was able to knock on her door and be welcomed inside - three full months after her February post. The weeks of anticipation, reading Kate's blog, and the special April afternoon at Starbucks, all helped make our ultimate May date very rich and intense. I would not change a thing!
