The background of this review begins literally two years ago. I don't remember all the details but "before covid" I saw a post of Julia on twitter and struck up a communications channel. Julia lives in Toronto and I live in San Diego. I think she said she was planning a tour to the U.S. and I said keep me up to date. Then covid hit and she couldn't cross the border and I severely curtailed my hobbying. And then this fall I got an email out of the blue from her saying she was coming to San Diego and would I like to meet. I pondered it briefly and then responded with an emphatic yes. We booked an afternoon several weeks away. It was the second longest advanced date I have ever booked. But it turned out to be totally worth it.
