General Details

Very easy to set up the appointment; sent her a request through P411 early Monday morning and by Monday afternoon we were all set for Tuesday night. After I checked into my hotel Monday, I told her the room was a little hard to find and suggested we meet for drinks first then walk to the hotel together. She was very receptive to that and I found a good jazz club on Bourbon for us to meet.

As I was nursing my drink and waiting for her, she got caught in a downpour and was delayed. I turned my attention back to the ball game and, when someone sat down next to me at the bar I immediately recognized her from her pics. She realized it was me and the smile she greeted me with lit up the whole room. She moved closer and I ordered her a drink. The band was on break, so we were able to talk and she was immediately at ease and we talked chatted like old friends for a little while while finishing our drinks. Ordered another round to go, paid the check, then headed off to the hotel at a leisurely pace, talking like long lost lovers but with an anticipation for what was to come.
