I'd struck out in LA having 2 encounters derailed because of family emergencies and another one because of illness. I was in a funk. Found a visiting ad for the lovely Dani and couldn't type fast enough to arrange a meet. She answered immediately, thank god, and her assistant was very accommodating in getting me screened fast enough for a date THAT NIGHT. I was relieved but burning with anticipation as Dani headed over. She was right on time but it might as well have been next week the way I was feeling.
