Review: Chloe Monet

General Details

I was in a jazz club not too long ago and the band played a piece by Thelonious Monk titled In Walked Bud. The inauspicious name aside, it was a painfully beautiful song played with passion by the band. In those sublime moments, I think the universe allows you to feel real joy, to see the warm soul that lies at the center of it all, to believe that these fleeting moments are more than we might at first appreciate, to touch real beauty. I dig that the often cruel and punitive universe can by turns afford us those moments. Chloe was another such moment.

Chloe means "blooming" or "fertility", in Greece. Here in the City of Angels, it means a fantastic time with an absolutely gorgeous young lady who will make your jaw drop before she makes your heart rate rise. Complain all you want about the shit sandwich that the Universe keeps serving us--heat, drought, pestilence, megaflood. Before any of those disasters befall you, you can find pure joy in the form of this comely minx. I did. And I'm better for it.
