General Details

I shot Carti a text first, and she replied surprisingly fast. We followed up with a quick FaceTime verification about ten minutes later — I pulled my rig over to the side of the road so I could talk properly. She was cool, friendly, and down to meet right away.

From my very first message to pulling up at her hotel, only about an hour and a half had passed. I parked in the lot, and the only twist was that I didn’t go inside the hotel. Instead, she came straight out to my tractor. She hopped in, and we got right to it in the cab.
