perhaps we want to make sure you're not our neighbors or high school crushes or our girlfriends' "boyfriend, ex, son, or whatever", or worse... a f-king cousin or uncle....

This hobby is a lot about instant gratification, and filling out forms and playing the waiting game isn't fun.  Its about personal 'safety' on this end of that e-mail, too.  With an agency, you only have to go through this once, and then its kid in a candy store time...all the time.

interesting, since you seem to have a reflective mind perhaps above the ladies, why don't you suggest the business model for US providers?

I gave up the info and was quite surprised to discover a lady I visited was friends with the daughter of a couple who had had me overnight on weekends a few times in much a balmier climate than DC.. I had briefly met the daughter too once when she was coming home to visit just as I was leaving.  

We hobbyists, of course, are equally concerned about running into people in the hobby from our real life.  Would you, Kelly, be willing to provide your real name and employer in your other profession to a potential hobbyist?

Several years ago I arranged a date with a provider who also had done some adult movies. As part of the screening she asked for my employment info--which I subsequently furnished. Met with the provider and it was a great session!

First of all. I believe in screening for safety of the providers. But you have to agree that some screenings are way too intrusive and get personal. I will co-operate to a certain level, but I aint telling anyone where I work or providing my driver's license info.  

sometimes it seems like I can't swing a dead cat in this town without hitting gorgeous porn star who wants to hang out. Its a rough life.

I feel like sending the provider you would like to meet a torso and face pic would be monumental in their determining if you are already familiar. For a hobbyist, we have been verified as legit after the first handful of reviews.

it's so frustrating when a person only gives their ter handle or p411 id and an email address & calls it good because they have references. references are awesome as long as they are from reputable and verifiable sources. and the references aren't gonna tell me if I know you in my personal life.

ultimately, there has to be some give and take. there's never gonna be a perfect recipe for staying safe.  
common sense, a healthy dose of paranoia, mixed with a lot of sexy thoughts... could be heaven, could be hell! depends on how well everyone did their homework & how comfortable they are when the teacher gives a pop quiz

I would more than likely only give you my p411, TER id and first name and email. From that you can can just look up as many references as you want. I wouldn't know if a provider I've seen in the past even remembered me, so that in addition to the above, seems like a waste. I mean really all I would do is look at my review/okays and give you the two most recent ones.

I just want to point out, that screening for LE is a waste of time. They get paid to catch criminals and they work full time. They can make up IDs, employment info, accounts, etc. They could easily arrest one provider and as part of the deal force her to give up her account info so they can catch others.

Why are you so vulgar? Why the need to stir up so much constant drama? He did not say anything that any of the men here in their right minds would disagree on.  

This is a business, and its choices on how you want to run your business.  If you want to be independent, then you will run into limitations of an independent business.  If you want to be part of an agency, there are advantages and disadvantages to that, too.  I don't know the business, but I would guess you have more access to a greater number of clientele with an agency - but you'll also be competing against other girls/women in the agency.  Plus the agency will take its share for scheduling, providing hotel, amenities, etc. (again depending on the agency).

Her recent barrage of bat shit crazy posts and the drama she has stirred, shows that she doesn't seem like a nice mentally stable girl. She has poor judgement and lacks discipline.

it would not be difficult to conclude that she uses all the frowned upon methods to get good scores. Or only sees those guys who hand out scores like Halloween Candy. The whole review system needs revamping. I have made several posts explaining my take in the past.
