Depending on where you are, you'll see things such as money on casinos, money on libraries, money for constructions on roads and buildings, and money, money, money; $175 million here, $250 million there, $375 million here, $325 million there.
When will I see the legalization of prostitution as a question on the ballot? I saw legalization of same sex marriages. There is usually an explanation of the proposed idea. In this case (prostitution), it may say: prostitution crimes will be reduce, the prison population will be reduce, increase tax revenues, and other benefits. It may even say that legalizing prostitution will create new facilities to work, create new jobs, increase the economy, and will create a competitive aspects for escorts. Some people spend a shit load on escorts. The economy for escorts may even be better than Best Buy (as an example). Some clients don't hesitate to spend $300 here, $400 there, and they'll do it frequently. Well, not so much for Best Buy. After you buy a TV, you don't have to buy another TV for at least 4 years. With pussy, you always need pussy at least 4, 5, or 10 times a month
If you add the money a person spend on escorts annually, then that money can be generated into tax revenues for the state.
In other countries, politicians, lawyers, teachers, blue collar workers, they can go around and see an escort and can care less about being discrete. Actually, the politicians in other countries where prostitution is legal go about seeking prostitution openly. "I'm the senator goddammit, and I want some pussy!".
Hopefully I don't die by the time we have that question on the ballot. We already legalized marijuana and a bunch of other things. Why not prostitution? Well, I assume I already know the answer to that question. But, its 2012 people! Let's change for the better
