Metro story and question

Last night I board for my usual 30 minute Metro trip home.  Woman sits opposite me so we face each other no more than 15 feet apart. Long leggy beautiful brunette, plugged into her iPod and wearing flip-flop type gold sandals.  The whole time, she is providing an amazing show for me, flipping her feet to the beat, twirling her ankles, flexing and spreading toes... for me, this is heaven and soon I was able to balance my backpack on the tentpole in my lap and had to wipe drool from the corner of my lips twice!  You get the idea...

If I had x-ray vision I would have burned a hole clear through her feet because I was staring so hard.  Then I would look up at her to try to make eye contact to show appreciation, then back to her feet.  I swear... she was oblivious. For 30 whole minutes.  I was hoping for something.... anything! My last hope was dashed when she got off a stop before me without acknowledging...

So here is the question... when you ladies are out in the civie world, do you ever notice stuff like this?  Would you be able to sense a stranger staring at your dangling ankle? If you notice what do you do? If it's happened (male or female) please share. Looking for empathy :-)

First, and this is not from a woman's standpoint so of course I will be wrong, but my sense is that women are never oblivious to things like this.  Women seem incredibly able to size up a situation before we ever even know there actually is a situation.

Of course, I am from Mars... or is it Venus.

Sounds like you were being rather inappropriate.

It's not shocking and you deserve no empathy...that a perfect stranger just on her way home from work & minding her own business, was deliberately ignoring the guy being creepy and Non-consensually imposing his sexual energy all over her.
I can almost guarantee she noticed, but being harassed in public & objectified is no treat.

Unless the invitation is obvious or verbal...the answer to your visual advances was "NO".

While I appreciate the sentiment here, I'd like to try to clarify a few things.  She was ABSOLUTELY not on her way home from work.  Now neither one of us can know for sure because we did not speak with her, however, at least I was able to see how she was dressed.  I cannot think of a place of business where very short cut of denim shorts  and loudly colored, midriff exposing tops are "acceptable" attire even on casual Friday.  My opinion based on observation is she was dressed to go out.

"Creepy and non-consensually imposing sexual energy".... OK, I can see this.  Maybe.  But flip side... are you going to tell me you have never seen a person, male or female, dress to attract attention? And I don't mean with a clown nose and multi-colored wig.  Is it really "creepy" to look at a beautiful woman who dresses and acts the part?

As for harassment... really?  I am only addressing this because I'd like NOT to have my reputation completely ruined by way of a charge I'm not sure I am guilty of, but to be fair, let me explain what i didn't do and what I did do.  If it's still considered harassment, I promise never to do it again...

I did NOT touch her, block her path, rub against her accidentally, whistle at her, point at her or move towards he in any way.  I watched her foot as it moved and I occasionally looked up at her.  I confess... I did not really drool.  It was an exaggeration in the retelling for which I apologize.

In sum, I am sorry I started the post.  And I am responding because I don't want to be viewed by this group as being "creepy" or as someone who is more lecherous than loving.  It's not who I am.  Sorry for the ramble, but I will return to lurking now so as not to further offend.

She's way out of line.

I'm assuming you were sitting in your seat... Not literally groveling at her toes.

If women don't want us to appreciate and fantasize, from a respectful distance... then they can wear clothes that actually cover their bodies... Like most men do.

Instead, they try to redefine the male/female human dynamic.  I'd have thought a provider here would know better.

If she affirmatively didn't like your distant visual attention, she could have glared at you, rolled her eyes, or simply moved away.

She either didn't notice  didn't care, or enjoyed your attention to the degree, and in the manner, that she wanted it.

I'm a foot fetishist too, and I've had women unwitting give me a raging hard on under similar circumstances.

It's not their fault nor ours.

A LOT of women operate with a tunnel vision that is sometimes frightening with respect to the situations that they walk into...

She was likely just in her own world listening to her music, thinking about how much fun she was going to have at her destination...although you repeatedly glancing at her face for confirmation might gave been disconcerting...

That being said, you were looking at her feet and ankles...not her tits...and I don't think that that many women come into contact with foot fetishists in public for your behavior to have struck a chord in her.

They are far more used to men staring at their tits and ass, and their faces...then their feet/ankles...
