While I appreciate the sentiment here, I'd like to try to clarify a few things. She was ABSOLUTELY not on her way home from work. Now neither one of us can know for sure because we did not speak with her, however, at least I was able to see how she was dressed. I cannot think of a place of business where very short cut of denim shorts and loudly colored, midriff exposing tops are "acceptable" attire even on casual Friday. My opinion based on observation is she was dressed to go out.
"Creepy and non-consensually imposing sexual energy".... OK, I can see this. Maybe. But flip side... are you going to tell me you have never seen a person, male or female, dress to attract attention? And I don't mean with a clown nose and multi-colored wig. Is it really "creepy" to look at a beautiful woman who dresses and acts the part?
As for harassment... really? I am only addressing this because I'd like NOT to have my reputation completely ruined by way of a charge I'm not sure I am guilty of, but to be fair, let me explain what i didn't do and what I did do. If it's still considered harassment, I promise never to do it again...
I did NOT touch her, block her path, rub against her accidentally, whistle at her, point at her or move towards he in any way. I watched her foot as it moved and I occasionally looked up at her. I confess... I did not really drool. It was an exaggeration in the retelling for which I apologize.
In sum, I am sorry I started the post. And I am responding because I don't want to be viewed by this group as being "creepy" or as someone who is more lecherous than loving. It's not who I am. Sorry for the ramble, but I will return to lurking now so as not to further offend.
