In late June 2013, I was watching Wimbledon and Britain's Laura Robson, so I decided to use the name Laura. I don't think  she would be flattered to hear she inspired my stage name.  

I went to Gmail and was trying to get an email address. I think I tried Jones and a few other last names with no success until I tried Kennedy.

It was pretty amusing choosing a stage name.

Nats Fan is the explanation of sorts.....So people don't mistaken me for someone having Curly hair or make stupid references to The Three Stooges.  

Nats are Washington Nationals, which is a baseball team.

Baseball is love of my life.

My moms side of the family is Swedish and I look more like her then my dad (German /Romanian) so I've always embraced my Swedish heritage more... Plus I've been told my eyes are one of my best features....

Mine's a pun, sorta - I used to throw the discus in college (figured if I was going to compete in intercollegiate sports it was only going to be in a really obscure one). Then later I used to have a computer disk manufacturing company, and there's the old vaudeville act where a guy spins a bunch of plates at the ends of sticks, so, you know, I have layers.

It's not anything to do with a fondness for unusually petite women - not that I don't like them, just not on my "must have" list.

When I decided to start weekly posts, I wanted a name that would strike fear in the hearts of all the bait and switch girls, and the scammers. ( OK not really, since most would have no idea what the name really means).

I picked the name because it does really fit into the posts I do.
Also since I don't use the name when I hobby, I am free to say what I want and not worry about anybody trying to  
retaliate against me.

For those you who dont know, the area code for Hawaii is 808. Having lived here for almost my entire existance I guess I am a Marylander now but a Hawaiian at heart. The spirit of aloha never left me and I do go back at least twice a year despite not having any family or or owning property there anymore.  

Long story as tp why I cant go back at least for now but I am counting the days to when I can return permanently. In the meantime thank you to the providers who make living in this corrupt, dirty, crime infested, overpriced and geographicaly ugly area somewhat liveable.
