There are some very odd observations there. One would think Tokyo would be more expensive since it's supposed to an expensive place to live for other items.  

No offence to those who live and work there but I never would have expected to see Cleveland on the list. Given the state of Detroit I would have thought it would be lower -- but maybe that's a sign of the skewed income distribution just being magnified there or something.

From an economic view, would be interesting to put the Q into the picture along with the P.

"You get what you pay for." No offense, but I have found that not to always be true when it comes to seeing the best providers.

I know a few beautiful, sexy ladies who offer fantastic GFE for less than the average cost in their respective cities. Sure, some are "diamonds in the rough" who are just getting started and will eventually raise their rates. But some are just really nice people who like to give their clients more than their money's worth.  

I have seen this with CMTs offering FBSM, full service non-GFE, and even a few of the best providers in their local area who charge less than the average rate. One just has to do the research to find them. That is what makes TER such a valuable tool! The profiles give all the info one needs to find a real gem, and the reviews allow for comparisons and contrasts.

And in a game where chemistry plays such a major role between a provider and client, and the old adage of YMMV is a good mantra to always keep in mind, the most expensive options are not necessarily always the best options.

No offense to any of the high priced ladies. They certainly have their place in the industry. Certain men of "status" will only see one of them. But to dismiss all others because they do not charge as much is wrong-headed and mistaken advice to heed.

I've seen other wonderful ladies too who charge more, but I certainly don't see a definitive price and service correlation.

I have seen a few nationally ranked top 10 ladies at a very high price-point who were not in the same league as 2 of my favorites who are at $400/hour with discounts for longer visits.  I have been at this for 4 years and have seen more than 50 ladies, all higher end, and have seen little price/quality correlation after you get around $350/hour.

Rates are set at what a person can get as it is with any service.  Advertising and presentation as opposed to looks and performance often are the determining factor in what a provider can charge.

Of course there are exceptions, but with a large sample size in a region, I do believe there is a correlation between quality and fee. Note I said quality, not service. Those who charge a higher fee tend to look prettier, not necessarily perform better or offer more menu items
