I went a bit loose with beer, wings last few weeks that I gained some but really need to look fit before my fav girl comes back in town.

Jogged 4 miles yesterday and lost 1 WHOPPING f*cking pound! Not very encouraging when I only see it go down by 1 after such a long and tedious effort.  

I need a more drastic way. Don't really care about health impacts since I'm very healthy. Just need to lose it very f-a-s-t.

Any ideas?

Fast for 36 hours. I have done it on a Thanksgiving Day, starting the evening before it. If you can't handle it, eat an an apple or another light fruit, not a banana.

Then, eat light the next few days including light soup such as miso soup, clear minestrone or other light vegetable soup -- nothing loaded with cream and cheese. Cut down on bread, especially white bread or processed carbohydrates. No desserts. Eat light fruit but not fruit juice. Drink water if necessary but don't overdo it; you already have fluid from the soup. Because of the weight of the fluid you won't see weight loss immediately. Plain water comes in and goes out, but the fluid in soup, containing electrolytes, stays in your body for almost a day, so be patience. Then stop the soup two days before your "fav girl" arrives.

You will see a lag in time in the results. You should see a loss of a couple of pounds after the fast but several more pounds after several days. So you should start now.

Whatever you do, do not eat heavily starting the day before she arrives. Even if you have lost weight you would look bloated.

Of course, no beer! Ideally, no alcoholic beverages either; it would weaken your resolve.

Before I forget, make sure you poop, completely, the morning of the big day.
