You guys are having a conversation in a 16 year old thread about number of reads. I don't want to answer in that thread because I don't like the idea of reviving ancient threads and bringing them to the top of the page, so that is why I started this new thread.

No one was complaining about the reads (hits) in today's world. I was on the sales floor 16 years ago and couldn't believe how many people really read the posts and responses back then. Just a comparison. Sheesh...

Who said you hit a nerve? Who said this is my Forum? You brought up a topic and I replied. I just chose not to reply in the ancient thread you brought it up in. I'm not dumping on anyone. Sensitive aren't you?

I explained my logic for bringing it up in the first place. Once again, I'm sorry for dusting off an old thread.

There's no reason for you to apologize to these trolls for dusting off an old thread. They  "live" in TER and will rip you a new one if things aren't done "their" way, GaGambler in particular. He feels entitled because he posts everywhere and was allegedly a TER monitor at one time (which he loves to point out once a week or so). He has an ulterior motive for not wanting certain threads to bubble up to the top again too though. There are some that make him look like the absolute tool that he is. I've called him out on it before and exposed him as the arrogant lying blowhard that he truly is. The longer those threads stay buried the happier he'll be.  
I think that reviving the thread that you did was actually very clever. Gives us a perspective on how things may or may not have changed.

What did you hope to find of current value in a 16 year old thread in the first place.  I'm just starting my tenth year in the hobby, and things have changed dramatically in this business just in that amount of time.  I remember things that were posted back then, and I doubt there is much there that is relevant to the way the business (and TER for that matter) works today.  This industry is always evolving.  What were you looking for that would cause you to go back so far, or are you just one of those people that reads obituaries in the newspaper every day to see if someone you know died?

All I said was - A blast from the past. Then people started taking it the wrong way. I mentioned hits/reads back then versus 2018. 16 years ago I was on a sales floor, I didn't know weathered hobbyist would of deemed it as a washed up topic. I'll upgrade my technology and knowledge on the business at a later date.

I was just wondering what made you go back 16 years?  What were you looking for as far as a topic?  Most major topics get repeated here at least every couple of years, so I was curious what you were looking for where you had to go back 16 years to find it.  

Good god, CDL who the fuck cares. She found an interesting point in an old thread and put it out there for discussion. Why do you care what made her go back that far? What is YOUR point?

posting on discussion boards with a focus on such boards that are for the more open-minded community. One of the topics is to CHANGE the subject line to fit your response instead of just hitting "reply". Is that too difficult?

Fact of the matter is your question has no relevance or substance. It's a stupid question and nobody gives a fuck how long you or anyone else has been here or whether or not YOU would go back that far and blah blah blah. Why would trolls like you, who love to hear yourselves talk, stress me out? Trust me, you don't.

have a stick up your ass.  In my experience here, the guys like that are mostly the low-volume keyboard jockeys that see a girl once a month and think they're a big time hobbyist.  You do yourself no service making yourself look like them, unless of course, you ARE one of them.  Let's see, seven reviews since September.  My apologies for not recognizing what a big deal you are in the hobby world.  LMAO

Nobody gives a fuck how long I've been hobbying or how many reviews I have, and guess what........nobody gives a fuck about your track record either (Except perhaps for your fellow trolls who jockey for position to have the most posts).
