Okay everyone, since it is the end of 2011, it is time to vote for moderator of the year. This is a vote for the moderator who has done the best job in 2011. There are some cool perks to the winner. The winner gets a cushy new office in the TER executive suite for 2012. They also will get exclusive use of the TER corporate jet for the summer months June and July of 2012, with the option of piloting it themselves if they so wish, plus one weekend date each with their choice of any ten ladies from the ter top 100, or ten of scoed's models (mix and match is okay but maximum of ten), a plaque with their name engraved, and a no expense paid trip to Baker Island.

As for nice moderator I do think Swim is doing an excellent job on the newbie board making newbies feel welcome. I don't play enough on the other boards to get to know the other mods.  I do kind of like the "wild west" atmosphere of this board, and see LP and GaG as Wyatt Earp and doc Holliday, and some of the posters are the Earp brothers and some are the Clanton gang

Gambler gets a vote for being the most drunk, utterly ruthless....  yet to select few he can be a friendly "nice mod". Once you get to know him he's very friendly and cuts you some slack... in the form of an extra length of rope.  lmao

LP gets a vote for being a drunk mod yet does a good job pretending to be sober. He's level-headed, keeps things in order, and unless I'm mistaken, probably the most experienced mod.

Fugly is another drunk mod who pretends to be sober. Gets my vote since he keeps the local boards fun & fair. Also because he was kind enough to approve 99% of my nonsense when I was moderated. lol

Apollo-X gets a vote for having a cool name after a lunar lander and also for approving 99.99% of my shit even those that are plain lame ass dumb. lol  The OP said the voting criteria is flexible and I happen to like lunar landers too. lol.

I will go with Little Phil. He is fair for the most part. He is helpful when I PM him over issues I have had. My biggest grip with him this year is one time I asked to BE moderated for a short while because I was drunk, pissed and felt I was about to do something stupid and he turned me down. Good thing MP talked me down from being stupid, reckless and saying what I wanted to say.

expectations need to be different.  That board requires a flames-off, totally helpful approach to get new people started.  But it would not work, nor should it be expected, of mods on other boards.  Keep in mind, too, that mods on the GD Board are expected to keep it "interesting" by stirring things up when they deem necessary.  You may not like the way they do it, and there may even be some who agree with you.  But I suspect most would not.
