DC I'm sure didn't dig my style, though I respect the hell out of him. Fuzzy I know after he was a mod and can't wait to get shit-faced crazy with him. Smarty, well, we fought but I respected him more than he knew. Had to. He was BIG!

Gambler and you, well, you two put up with a LOT of my shit. Daego, I have to send a PM to. Fugly I'm on the fence with and Apollo I think is coming around to the way you and Gambler perceive me as, lol!

I do miss Puck. Met him and talked with him quite often. Cool motherfucker and think I should invade his world in the next couple of days.

Okay everyone, since it is the end of 2011, it is time to vote for moderator of the year. This is a vote for the moderator who has done the best job in 2011. There are some cool perks to the winner. The winner gets a cushy new office in the TER executive suite for 2012. They also will get exclusive use of the TER corporate jet for the summer months June and July of 2012, with the option of piloting it themselves if they so wish, plus one weekend date each with their choice of any ten ladies from the ter top 100, or ten of scoed's models (mix and match is okay but maximum of ten), a plaque with their name engraved, and a no expense paid trip to Baker Island.

This is not just for the mods of this board but all mods are eligible. Mods are allowed to vote for themselves. They are also allowed to alter posts to change the vote.
All prizes are subject change and subject to approval by TER “powers that be,”  “Top 100 Ladies of TER.” “Models of scoed, LLC,” and the governor of Baker Island, Claudius42310

Now it is time for me cast the first vote.
As a wuss and a kiss ass, I cast my vote as a tie between GaGambler and Little Phil:)

Since swimtrekker hasn't put in full year yet I'm not sure he qualifies.  But if he does I'd vote for him.  He's attentive, responsive, patient and really goes the extra mile.  Apollo-X is right up there, too.  As for Gambler and LP, that's kind of like suggesting the "Humanitarian of the Year" award be split between Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun.  Of course, if the award was Mod with the best sense of humor, either one would get my vote.

Well I didn't put any qualifications as to what makes "MOY." So it is totally wide open to interpretation. The one who had the busiest board? The funnest board? The quietest board?  The one who made the most posters feel welcome? The one who chased off the most posters? The one who makes you laugh?  Aproved the most stupid posts? Prevented the most trainwrecks? Approved the most trainwrecks? LOL! I just figured it would be a fun topic and wanted to see what kind of feedback would come from it. I like your line: "suggesting the "Humanitarian of the Year" award be split between Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun." LOL.

As for nice moderator I do think Swim is doing an excellent job on the newbie board making newbies feel welcome. I don't play enough on the other boards to get to know the other mods.  I do kind of like the "wild west" atmosphere of this board, and see LP and GaG as Wyatt Earp and doc Holliday, and some of the posters are the Earp brothers and some are the Clanton gang :)

Nick. Little Phil is the most even tempered, no bullshit, fair mod that i have experienced on multiple boards. Sadly he has to be on a the "Shit" Board as others. He enjoys(and prompts)the occassional trainwreck and enjoys sitting back and watching the DUNG FLY! His only draw-back is that i think he plays favorites at times.

I used to think RCPRO was the best. Many didn't LOL

Now can we vote on WHO sucks toe-jam?

Swim has the attributes I would expect to encounter in a maderator, let alone a GOOD one. Prompting trainwrecks and overt bias are reasons NOT to be voted for. In that I agree. And then there are the unprovoked personal attacks, abuse of authority, juvenile behavior, etc.

expectations need to be different.  That board requires a flames-off, totally helpful approach to get new people started.  But it would not work, nor should it be expected, of mods on other boards.  Keep in mind, too, that mods on the GD Board are expected to keep it "interesting" by stirring things up when they deem necessary.  You may not like the way they do it, and there may even be some who agree with you.  But I suspect most would not.

Gambler gets a vote for being the most drunk, utterly ruthless....  yet to select few he can be a friendly "nice mod". Once you get to know him he's very friendly and cuts you some slack... in the form of an extra length of rope.  lmao :)

LP gets a vote for being a drunk mod yet does a good job pretending to be sober. He's level-headed, keeps things in order, and unless I'm mistaken, probably the most experienced mod.

Fugly is another drunk mod who pretends to be sober. Gets my vote since he keeps the local boards fun & fair. Also because he was kind enough to approve 99% of my nonsense when I was moderated. lol

Apollo-X gets a vote for having a cool name after a lunar lander and also for approving 99.99% of my shit even those that are plain lame ass dumb. lol  The OP said the voting criteria is flexible and I happen to like lunar landers too. lol.

Swimtreckr also gets a vote too cuz I always have this strange thought in my head that he's modding from his ipad at some the swimming pool or florida beach while getting a tan under the sun.

DirtyDaego also a nice mod. Gets a vote for making me think of the word "Dirty Sanchez" every time I think of his handle. lmfao!!

but I would still agree with MP that she helped a lot of people and did so altruistically considering that she actually had a life (Not meant as a put down to the rest of you mods, of course.)

As for the mod of the year, I would have a very hard time singling out any particular one as I think they all do a wonderful job considering what they get paid.

I will go with Little Phil. He is fair for the most part. He is helpful when I PM him over issues I have had. My biggest grip with him this year is one time I asked to BE moderated for a short while because I was drunk, pissed and felt I was about to do something stupid and he turned me down. Good thing MP talked me down from being stupid, reckless and saying what I wanted to say.
