And hardly any. I need to be aware of my surroundings at all times. If I know the gent for a while I will ease up a bit. I have only once gotten pretty tipsy on a date and that was with a client I had gone on several dates, a va-cay, and seen him inside and outside of the hotel.

As an independent, I've never had a guy get too tipsy, nor have I. With an agency, I did have some issues, but never had anybody show up drunk and belligerent. Just fumbling, stumbling, and 'horizontally' bumbling. But most of the truly memorably messed-up clients were on substances other than alcohol.  

I only drink at night and never before or during a date.  Unless she has an open bottle of wine and asks if I want a sip.  And that's only a courtesy.
I wait until we're done and I'm home.  Then I get hammered.

Well, I did once bring a bottle of bubbly to a session xcuz she said she liked it and we sipped it while we did nasty thangs to each uther.  Itt wuz funnn. I forget where I lefft my jizz.

But I couldn't get down like that with just anyone b/c alcohol can put you in a vulnerable position. So my general rule of them is I will enjoy a glass of wine or two with a client (and not get drunk), but the bottle must be unopened

I think any job has those days you can't get through w/o a flask of vodka. At least here, you can't get fired for it

I've heard the "Whiskey dick" term from a couple of providers. Odd thing is that my best sex (for both of us) was when my wife and I were drunk. I could last forever.

I approached this job with a lot of energy and go-get-em spirit when I was new. Sometimes put myself through a lot of sh**, but I also made a lot more money in those days than I do now.

First time he came drunk and happy. And kept giving us (me and lyric) extra money.

...but I have had dinner with a provider and we've indulged in a bit more wine than either of us planned. Not drunk, but definitely more relaxed. More trust, more open, more better time; not as "on guard" all the time. FWIW.
