Most of the time I lean towards not caring (i.e. if I have a client who pays me $$$ and chooses to see a provider who charges $$$$).

But if a client sees me at $$$ and spends his days and nights obsessively contacting me, bemoaning his ability to see me financially, is demanding of me in more ways than one....and then turns around and write a review of a provider at $$$$ then yes, that pisses me off.  I hate to be manipulated.

In terms of pure emotional "jealousy", no, I never care if a client I see sees other women.  
You are right, it always balances out - 100% of the time.  I give out tons of referrals.  I meet a man visiting in town on business and never hesitate to give him suggestions about who else to see if he has specific preferences.  Why?  Because they nearly always come back to me and the generosity is paid back to me in terms of girls doing the same for me.  Any girl who looks at others in this business as her "competition" or gets jealous is unhinged.

I don't me a first or second time client necessarily. What if you have a client who has seen you several times and then one day asks if you can be a "reference" for him - or another provider contacts you to verify a client who has been one of your "regulars. As a courtesy, I'm sure you would recommend him to the other lady - but maybe deep down you may have some reservations? Like, maybe he'll stop seeing you? You may lose him entirely, or at least some of his $$$ will go to the other provider.

This is the only industry/profession I can think of where "competitors" send their customers to their "competition". I guess it all balances out - you lose some and then you gain some. it's just an interesting concept for me from a business standpoint. I mean a plumber doesn't usually refer their customer to another plumber, eg.

Its funny cause in order to see some ladies you basically have to undergo a background check and give them all kind of info, links, occupation, etc etc., and yet when you ask a lady to return the favor and she don't..

That is just plain unprofessional and rude, not to mention it might actually hurt your business more then it helps by trying to "keep" a client

This is what the hobby is all about variety the spice of life.
I have gents that I see regularly for a year or two they reach out to me for a reference to see another provider.
I have no issue with providing a reference and I do not think "Oh,why is he not seeing me again?"
My clients do not belong to me so if they see another provider..or two...or three who cares?
If they want to see me again they know how to contact me.

But I do agree about the haggling thing.  I've had that happen where I was badgered into giving discounts then get reference request for double or triple my rates?  Oh hell no, that is why I do not do discounts for anyone anymore.  

I would give the reference but that motherfucker got set straight on rates the next time he contacted me.

When you're a client who posts dozens or hundreds of reviews and posts on boards all day or brags about who he's seeing in threads...well that doesn't require spying.

I have a handful of "top-tier" raters...clients who everyone knows and who love to be known who have played extreme games with me over the years in terms of my rates including the "well I'm a super good regular and I can't afford to pay your rate but I being with you" game only to then turn around and brag about seeing 'so-and-so' double and triple my rate.

When you are a provider who has seen a client for a one or two or three years guess what?

You are emotionally involved on some level.

If you aren't?  People are writing shitty reviews about your emotional detachment.

I am a provider, I have sex with men and keep their secrets and oh the secrets I am told.  I am not Bank of America.  There is no formula to how I "work".

If a client I have seen for sometime expresses that he enjoys our time together I try to make it good for him every time.  If he says he makes it seem like he needs a little 'push' or incentive to keep seeing me regularly I try to make that happen in a way that leaves me satisfied and not resentful so that I can perform on point and he can still be happy.  When that client gets on the internet and brags about being able to afford some other so-and-so at XXXX rate that means that he doesn't think very highly of me or my efforts to keep his attention at all and therein lies the problem.  Its a matter of respect.  If you can't see me all the time (or simply don't think I'm worth my current rates) then don't.  Don't tell me your kids need braces, and the oldest one is going to college or whatever but that you care for me so much and need a little break....only to turn around and spend freely elsewhere.  
That is manipulation.  

Clients can't have it both ways.  Either you want us to treat you like a john or you want us to treat you with respect just as we would a real lover.  Decide which it will be and act accordingly with your "favorites".

Don't see people you've known for years.

It bothers me when other providers are territorial.  I will always give a reference to any client, but a lot of providers will not do the same.  The business we are in works because each man is entitled to choose who he wants to be with and when.  Some days he may want a blond, other days a brunette, etc.  We do not OWN our clients.  Make them happy and they will come back for more.  I enjoy the time I have with each one of them, but they can see who they want, when they want.  No room for jealousy in this business!

I have never "haggled" but I do have a price point.  I've never discussed a fee with a woman during a session either.  But I have, on rare occasion, done a single visit to a couple of different woman who were above my normal price point.  It is possible that these men feel comfortable financially seeing you at your fee on a regular basis, but could never afford the fee that a single visit lady charges more than occasionally.  I'm just guessing.
