Alienation of Affection statutes are a thing of the past, and I'd expect this verdict to be overturned.

is too much when the value or lack thereof is not commensurate with the product or service. Don't pay $$$$$ if you are ever uncertain or can't make a reasonable assumption that said tryst won't go your way. You are after all in the situation for your entertainment, less we forget. The fool in the news article was in love and he'll pay for it... and who's to say he wasn't set up? Get wealthy and find how fast people will try to take it away.

including rights to crazy causes of action.

How different is this from say, emotional distress?  or say interference in a marital relationship?  There's protection for all sorts of privacy in any domestic relationship, why not this?

After all, us indigent folks with small dicks need protection too!
