There's plenty of women inside and outside of Hollywood that look better than her.  She appeals to women more than she does men.

Maxim's subscriber demographic is likely made up of 19 year old frat boys.  WTF would they know about sexy anyway? "Jessica Alba, high five, dude!" I have never been that into her looks, but give me a break.

SJP is rich, well respected within her acting range (plenty of Emmys and Golden Globes), has a longtime stable Hollywood marriage (which says something about this woman by itself), leads a useful personal life, and is in pretty good shape for a 42 year old mother (compare her to most of your wives, guys... not to Jessica "I couldn't act if I had a gun to my head" Alba).

I would fuck SJP in a heartbeat over many, if not most, of the people that Maxim would rate highly...because she obviously knows how to keep her husband happy, and, as she is intelligent, could likely give you a better time in bed.

And by the way, Hollywood doesn't push anything down "our" throat that doesn't sell...at least not more than once.

While I don't find her stunning, I do find her unique.  She has a certain charm about her.  I grew up around horses and she reminds me honestly, of an elegant thoroughbred- which in my book is beautiful.  She's long, lanky and toned- her nose doesn't play into my view BTW.  Her nose may not be the "ideal" but I like that she didn't give into societal pressure and get it "done".  She is who she is, brava!

Her eyes are breathtaking, IMO.

Her personality is playful and she just somehow sparkles.  She is smart, funny, humble (by Hollywood standards), a great actress, hard working, a good wife from outward appearance and a saavy businesswoman.  All qualities to be admired in my eyes.

So she doesn't look like all the other plastic eye candy, long live variety.

She does her own thing, gracefully without conforming, and that is very threatening and/or interesting to most.  That is why the spotlight keeps finding her.

I notice two things immediately, 1. she wears her hair the wrong way for her face. It's way too long for her face. This makes her long face look longer. A shorter style looks great on her. 2. She should gain some weight. Her face is extremely thin, and that ages her. She is far from the unsexiest lady to me. I thought she looked great in Honeymoon in Vegas. I know she's older now, but I think she could look just as good.

why she allows this article to be how she feels society defines her is beyond me. It would have been smarter on her part to shrug it off as if it didn't phase her, but now we all know it did. Fuel for the fire is all she gave them.

She doesn't deserve that label... to be scored less than Amy Winehouse with her crack addiction, her bruises, track marks, skin problems and horrific hair? Please...

until she opens her mouth or performs her art.  Then she gets better looking with every word and performance.  MrSelfDestruct is right on here - she, as a person, is hot.

For a group that gets unfairly judged by society, we can be too quick to judge someone else for the cover rather than the substance.

She has a unique beauty. I like her personality, she is very optomistic, which is also an attractive quality. Her body is very graceful and elegant.
I think the test of "how attractive is she" for you guys is to get her in a g-string and heels, have her say "Do you mind honey, if I suck you down there?", and I do believe all of you would say "yes".

The kid play Mitch on the movie Real Genius...isn't that her?
