I had a pretty funny phone call tonight - Of course, I turn all my phone calls into stark raving fun -

" Hi, this is John , I'd like to see you tonight "
Ciara: Hi- this is Trix , how are you "
John: I love your name ! Is it really trixie ?
Ciara : Sure.
John: I thought I Called Maria
Ciara : no you called Ava , this is really Ava silly.
John: Omg, how funny, anyhow, im from ter and I'd love to see you . I am in Buffalo tonight and love to get together -
Ciara: I called him back, after his screening went well.
Told him I'd love to see him.
John : This is great Maria !! I am in room _________at the _______Hotel...

I get to the room and he says -

John: OMG, you are Ciara of Buffalo ! I meant to call you and couldn't find your number ! I have someone else coming !!! Maria !! How did you know where I was ? How did you know I was going to call you ?

Ciara : I told him I was Ciara, Ava and Maria - ROFL

Anyhow- after session ended- went very well, hell, at least he remembered his own name - he started singing Ava` Maria to me -

Moral of the story :
MEN PLEASE KNOW WHO YOU ARE CALLING !!!!

You say to make sure who you are calling. It appears he knew who he was calling but you decided to mess with his mind by giving him different names.

It may sound funny to you if you go by all those names or have gone by those names before. If I  am a hobbyist looking at your website or profile with only one of your names how am I supposed to know that you go by four different names?

Honestly I would have been ticked and probably hung up soon after more worried about possible LE or something.

You seem like a nice person and this is not a personal attack but just hoping you see a hobbyist's perspective.

Next time, he will probably make sure he pays a little more attention when dialing a provider’s phone number…especially if he wants the right woman to show up….which makes me think (hmmmm), it would be a lot more flattering for the provider if it appeared he genuinely wanted her time and not whoever picked up the phone (Maria’s, Sally’s, etc). Maybe he was just confused, and hopefully, that won’t happen to him again. Good thing he got what he wanted in the end....Ciara!

Ciara's post was a comment on all of the clients who write out notes on their plan, their contingency plan, their contingency plan's back up etc. and HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE FUCK THEY'RE CALLING when they start dialing.

Just like clients like to be called by their names (2 threads about this, really?) providers don't like know that we're one of a dozen that you have called that night just to make sure that someone arrives.

Ciara doesn't go by all of those names, nor has she.

She was picking on that client because he very clearly had no idea WHO he was calling and was content to settle for anyone (as evidenced by the name play and the fact that he STILL gave his screening information to her despite being unsure-again, REALLY?).

Personally Ciara, you're a better woman than me.
I don't mind hobbyists having backup plans, but at the moment they call me they better have a definitive understanding of what my name is and why they want me to come see them because if they don't know, I don't know and I just assume that I'm on their little White Board in their outcall sting room and they're just going down the list.

I think his reaction is so cute! He sounded so excited that Ciara was at his door. He obviously has a great sense of humor as does Ciara! I have to say, I bet that was a first for Ciara, having a client sing Ave Maria to her!!!  

Funny, a recent post concerning providers not using their clients names. How about this one for the other side of the coin.

I'm sure he'll read it on the board and be reminded to know who he's calling next time.

I've had a few guys call me by accident when trying to make an appointment with another lady. When they see me, they admit I wasn't the lady they thought they'd had called but they also said they were glad they saw me.
