Prefer to roll in the daytime.  Curious as to what kind of excuses the fellas have given for ducking out for a couple of hrs.  Certain people (not employers or clients) expect me to be somewhat present during the day, and saying that I have a meeting will work on occasion.  But, I'm curious as to anyone has any really good excuses that they've given for disappearing for a couple or at least humorous anecdotes regarding the same.

I'm da BOWSS. I just tell people that I must meet with a client or supplier and that I have an important business to take care of... Like, seeing a provider.

I start my day early and generally get home early so that helps, but when I need a reason to get out I like to use the.  I am going to Home Depot line lol.  What guy doesn't go to home depot and get lost for hours lol

"I am sneaking out for a couple of hours to fuck a hooker"

In the middle of the day, its usually a doctor or dentist appt.  Later in the evening, its usually taking clients out to dinner, or a late meeting.  

Is that most people won't believe you even if you are telling the truth with that excuse.  They'll just think you have a weird sense of humor and are going out to get drunk at lunch.

What if the SO calls and you don't pick up for 1 hour?  Wouldn't she get suspicious?  

1. Going to the driving range
2. Doctor's appointment  
3. Meetings
4. Going to the movies with the guys (we actually do this sometimes)
5. I've used the Home Depot one before
6. Happy hour for work
7. Appointment for car oil change/maintenance  

Is it the 'norm' for men in relationships/marriage to have sex on the side simply because they are men?  Or are the majority of you who are cheating on your SOs doing it because you are not getting any at home? Not enough at home?  Not satisfying at home?  

It really is true most Home Depots have terrible cell phone reception, I also tend to keep something in my truck that I can say I bought if I get called out on it lol

The best that one of my friends uses is the shooting range. Best reason to not answer the phone too! It really is too loud! His wife must think he has anger issues because he shoots his gun an awful lot! Might even be a sharpshooter by now! te he he

Because I could go out during the day to visit a job and then sneak off for an hour or two without anyone the wiser.  I could also see someone late without arousing too much suspicion.  Weekends were off limits though.

Now that I'm single I can indulge on the weekends which is far more to my liking.

With the presence of iphones and such, the office is much more ever-present than it once was.

some people actually use that line for that exact reason, knowing that no one will believe them.

So I had to shop all over town to find my screws.  Yes, the d*mn drywall screws.  What did you think I meant?

That is a good cover for 1-2hrs in the afternoon, I still get a work out, and I show back up to work freshly showered and looking energized for the rest of the day

He always wanted my airport location because Elmwood Fitness was in that area. Had a few more who always used Walmart, because if you have ever been to any New Orleans Walmart you know there is no way in hell you're getting out quick. Most people hang out there, high, to watch mothers beat their kids bwahahhaa. It's a riot.
