Get a paperbag and scoop up as much dog poop as you can find and fill the bag with it.

Situation:
Ex GF cheated on me with here current BF. After six months I'm over her and ready for revenge!

I just want to get some prospective and maybe some ideas. I have and idea but i want to know what others think. Yes, I know this could blow up in my face. My plan does involve a provider and some trickery. Have to test the waters before you jump in.

You have a right to be mad at her for the dishonesty in your relationship, but after 6 months you need to put it aside and live your life. Even aside from that, there's no reason to involve the guy at all. Figure out a way to give her herpes
Better yet, figure out a way to give her new boyfriend herpes
Send her gift subscriptions from Cheesecake Factory and other places so she'll get fat.  Hirogen hates fat girls and so should you.

Let me preface this by saying that some posters have given you great advice already, so take notes and heed to advice which is culmination of valuable lessons learned involving matters of heart relating to heartbreaks. Admittedly, some posters are laying it into you and you can only blame yourself for this because of your immaturity level!

You never specified your plan, but if it involves "renting" a woman (a provider) to show her up (your ex) at some social event or function, is a pretty lame idea which will only back fire toward you. If your brilliant plan involves this scenario, stick a fork into it as it will be a dud!

On the other hand, if your scheme involves renting a provider to induce the current BF into cheating on his GF (your ex) you may as well get that escort f*ck the first random guy whom you'll find walking past you! Yeah, this plan is as brilliant as that!

Indifference is the key to revenge when it comes to romance. If she cheated on you then TOO BAD. It happens or has happened to just about everyone.

Then the emotions kick in: Get MAD, get even, get revenge, move on and get better so she/he will become jealous and regret cheating on you. These approaches are for LOSERS who have nothing else to do, nobody else to screw and nowhere else to go.

Here is my formula to getting over this and on with your life.

Step 1) Forgive her for cheating on you. The relationship/friendship may be over but forgive her anyway. No ill-will but no good-will towards her. As I said in the beginning INDIFFERENCE

Step 2) Enact Bill Clinton's dont ask and dont tell policy. So if you have any mutual friends please ask them to dont ask and dont tell you or her about each others lives. Who she is screwing now is none of your business now and vice-versa.

Step 3) GO have sex with at least 7 hot providers or civie chicks as quick as possible. If you really click with one of them then go see her again. She will help weem you off your ex.

Step 4) Engage in some type of activity that will occupy your mind something like fishing, running, martial arts, surfing, playing a musical instrument, chess, etc. Preferably something that costs little or no money and utilizes both your body and mind. This is to buy you some time until you heal.

Step 5) Dispose of everything she gave you or that reminds you of her. Yes, pawn that watch she gave you, donate that sweater she picked out for you last fall to the thrift store and delete the nude pics of her that you have on your computer. No, the pics will not help you later when she becomes famous because you will be way over her when/if this ever happens and wont care one bit.

Step 6) Omit her from your conversations. Do not bring her up when dating, hobbying or just talking with your friends. If you continue to bring her up, than that will keep the wound from healing. Talk about anything else, but that topic. If anybody asks then just say That chapter in my life is closed.

Step 7) Avoid excessive drinking or watching romantic comedies, dramas or womens shows. They tend to focus on relationships that failed or are failing. You need to put as much distance benween you and anything pertaining to romance as well as depressannts like Jack Daniels.

Step 8) Have sex with 6 more hot providers or Indes. This time have three threeways.

Step 9) Join a Gym and work out. This serves two purposes. First, to help you burn off any pent up aggression and Second, because it is something you should be doing anyway reguardless of age or  physical condition.

STEP 10) If you followed these steps then by now you should have either found somebody else or you are totally INDIFFERENT to your ex and she means as much to you as last weeks Lacrosse score between Central Utah and Coppin State.

Right on 808.  Although I'm new here and have been contemplating the hobby I can really see where you are coming from.
My marriage of 16 years is coming to an end.  The last year has been pure hell and I've lost 20 pounds in the last 4 months and have been getting physically ill over the pending divorce.  Meanwhile before the wife even gets her foot out the door she's bangin away with some guy and gets herself knocked up.  I've obsessed over this and have gone through the spectrum of emotional hurt.  
She's cheated before and I let it go but this time I'm fuming and it's killing me.  
I thought about the revenge thing too but then I think what the hell would I be proving?  It's a slow healing process and as you suggest I think taking up the hobby for oneself is the only reason to do it,  and not as a method to try and "get back" at an ex.
I'd take all your advice and take up the hobby but the fear of catching something really scares me off.  I know a lot about std's and know how they are spread.  And the old saying,  "If you fuck someone it's like fucking everyone they have ever been with"  keeps nagging at me every time I even think of calling a provider.

I will expand on that and recommend that a good life with a "younger" woman is the best revenge Of course, you'll need to really work on yourself really hard, starting with your attitude though, before you can land that young hottie (civvie world is what I am referring to) But be careful what you wish for though, because before you know it, that young hottie will cheat on you too
