Ladies, do you ever think you are doing something wrong when a gent is super quiet or just stares at you the whole time?

I totally understand being shy, I'm not very vocal myself ...But when a guy is quiet I wonder if A) his fantasy involves no uninvasive small talk to fill silences, or B) am I not physically appealing, do I smell, not doing this and that right? :-/

that is halarious...when my guest is very quiet i just assume that he doesnt want to talk, I may make small talk after or before but if he doesnt engage in the convo.I figure he hears enough rambling at home. i leave it alone and show him my many talents that he came to see. lol.

I do not know whether to infer by this that you are new at the game......  but it is important to establish a comfort level, a rapport with your visitor. In my view, it is encumbent upon the provider, as the professional, to develop these skills, to be outgoing without being threatening, to be welcoming and open. I have a bit of experience in this hobby, and can be quite assertive with ladies I know well, but with a new lady I take my cue from her, because I do not want to make her uncomfortable.....  my favorite thing in the world is when a lady shows *interest* as soon as I walk through the door - dfk, lead me to the bed, etc etc.

You are gorgeous!  All guys are different.  Besides the physical attributes, I do enjoy getting to know you as a person.  For me, personality counts big in rating a session and is a big part of my decision whether to repeat or not.

Now I sound like a suck up, lol (guilty as charged).  But seriously, some guys don't know what to say to a pretty girl. Guys that haven't been around a lot of women, sometimes have a difficult time relating to women. They freeze up. Other guys feel a natural comfort around women.  I wouldn't worry about it. I doubt it had anything to do with your actions, he just may have been intimidated. A handshake does seem a little weird after an hour of love making.

too many variables left out. Age difference? May think what could he possible say to a young girl that she'd understand or be interested in. If you aren't adept at making it a relaxed atmosphere for even the most introverted guy (which is not easy by any means) it will take a few meetings for him to realize it's cool to talk about whatever. Some guys are just quiet like that. I've only met two individuals like that and so I don't push conversation. I just lightly touch upon some talking but let my body do the most important talking : ))

Those type of guys are rare and I don't know what their issues are, if any, but just try to enjoy the moment for what it's worth.

My tongue is in a man's mouth faster than you can say HELLO...I can't imagine a handshake after that.

I like a little chat before the action and maybe afterwards--if we have time.  But, I prefer no unnecessary talking during sex.  It's distracting.  I get enough of that yak at home.  Now, a little feedback, that's different.  "Keep sucking", "a little slower", "mmm that's nice".  

As for the handshake, that's just plain weird!

I had a similar experience and was left oh so very baffled and wondering if I didn't do things right or was appealing enough.  I THINK he liked me.  He did arrange another appt the week after....
