You do seem to take some things pretty personally.  If the guys were seriously putting her through "hell," I'm guessing they would get weeded out awfully quick.  I may be new, but I'm not a complete idiot.  Just from reading the forums here you can tell that MOST guys are pretty darn respectful when it comes down to it.  Yeah, they want to get their rocks off and they like to tell good stories.  Then again, most guys do.  The subject here just happens to be sex.  

And you have to admit, many reviews are a 10 themselves when it comes to entertainment value.

I'm a newbie and the information in reviews is generally excellent.  But you have to admit, it can be entertaining.  I have no doubt that many who write reviews kind of re-live the experience and so who cares if it's worded a certain way.  Doesn't make it any less entertaining.  It's not a terrible thing!

Ideally, I would just prefer to see a bunch of bullet points that give me the same information.  But the writing helps me to understand what kinda client the guy is, and whether I am likely to trust the information I am reading.

Whenever I see the line "She was a real trooper," I cringe. Wrong!
