Oh wait...you wanted straight men.

I think he's straight...well, maybe.

There are several companies, mentioned in the news, that offer 'straight' male gigolos for women.

So, why aren't they posting on TER and getting reviews?

The very few female hobbyists posting here (like myself) are interested only in female providers. I could be wrong but in my short time here at TER I haven't seen a female hobbyist looking for male companionship. But like I said....I could be wrong.

Dear Ms. Young:
Who would you know that would see Gigolos?  That is who you need to talk to to ascertain exactly where in cyberspace they go in order to review and get verified to see certain ones.  Perhaps you should speak to the producers of the showtime show to ascertain what are the concomitant avenue they would use in cyberspace to do the same things their female counterparts here would do. In fact give Arden Moon a call and maybe she can get you in contact with Vin from the show.  I am sure he can elaborate further and in detail on this subject.

You can attempt to review me, the review will most likely be unapproved.

I wouldn't describe myself as having the physique of a gigolo.

If you look at the FAQ's (you can find the link at the bottom of the page), this is the first question and answer:

WHAT IS THE EROTIC REVIEW ANYWAY?
The Erotic Review is, as its name implies, a place where stunning women in the sex service industries are discussed, recommended, worshipped or panned. We offer ‘how to meet and greet’ guides for first time clients, tips on escort etiquette, how to avoid legal entrapment, information about the fees charged, sexual advice, erotic stories, and much more! Our reviews serve as powerful barometers that keep an otherwise illegal business honest, and our website is a perfect forum for members of The Hobby, as it is fondly known, to gather for information, support, and camaraderie. So… welcome to TER!

I guess who ever approved the review skimmed through it, and didn't realize it was a review of a guy.

There is no where on the profile to select male or female.

any man, at any rate, ever genuinely considered the possibility of women hiring stunning women in the sex service industry; much less stunning men :)

Even in very recent history on TER, the very idea that a woman would engage in p4p (as a client) has typically been met with every idiotic, stereotypical response imaginable----NO woman EVER would, or any woman who would must be so butt-ugly she can't even get a drunk fuck in a bar for free,......and so on.....I know b/c I've battled with a shit-ton of them......lol....

is that posters on TER generally, and on the GD board specifically, have pretty consistently demonstrated an overt hostility to even the idea of women engaging in P4p.

I don't know if TER has some hard-fast rule about male providers NOT advertising (they may---and, that's their prerogative). But, when/if TER allowed (tolerated?) male providers advertising to women, it would open the door to the possibility of male providers advertising to men.

And TER is overwhelmingly conventional/heterosexual. As long as we're talking about women acting like lesbians  to entertain men or, a man does not know that a provider actually *is* a lesbian IRL, it's all good....lol...even the occasional thread related to transgendered providers, outside of the TS board, is inevitably a bloodbath/train-wreck.

EH. Social change is a slow moving.

As a female hobbyist interested in female providers I would hope TER is becoming less conventional/homosexual. It would seem many female providers are truly bisexual/lesbian & not just gay for pay.

 Hi lopaw,

How nice to hear a women's opinion...thank you!  Also, I must say, I never assumed women were TER hobbyists.  How awesome! ;)

There was a time in my life, when I hired gigolos.  I had ended a three year engagement, and wanted companionship and intimacy, without commitment.  Too bad there wasn't a TER for gigolos, because I got hooked into several bait and switch scenarios.

On behalf of the "bigger loudmouths" may I interject that I have not left.  Also, while I doubt male providers will post much here, they are welcome as far as I'm concerned.  Prejudice against sexual practices on a board like this is bizarre and stupid, unless we're talking about underage sex.
We have female players here who are gay and I know at least one other who's bi.  Cum one, cum all.
Actually, I'd be interested to know more about the world of male providers because I know almost nothing about it.  If more women are paying for sex that would be an interesting trend, and a positive one.

I'd love to read about male providers in the news.

I know of a couple sites (one even has reviews!) for straight male providers and women. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link here so PM me if interested!

Yes, there are a lot of "gay for pay" gals out there, but I know enough hookers with "girl friends" to know it's hardly an act with them. Actually, in many cases the "act" is when they are with a man, not a woman.

As for male providers, it's one of those subjects that really doesn't get me too excited, quite frankly I doubt TER would ever allow it because the last thing they want are members getting jealous that "their girls" that they have to pay to have sex with would be drooling over younger, hotter guys, right in front of them. The ego loss would be monumental. Can you imagine one of the manginas coming to the realization that the same women he thinks he has "chemistry" with would actually pay a young handsome guy to do the same things to her that she he has to pay her to do with him. What an ego deflator to some of these guys, That's why I predict it will never happen.

 OK, you've got a deal! ;)

Because I've been in the entertainment biz, for most of my life, I've 'civie' dated many of the most handsome and famous celebrities in the business.  To be honest, the men that were the most handsome, weren't the ones I enjoyed spending time with.  Many were very superficial, vain, and boring.

So, don't sell yourself short...looks aren't everything!  I adore men and women with playful personalities, and kind hearts AKA inner beauty.

Much of the sex many women give that are sex workers is all about the clients enjoyment and not their own. Some like it when it is their turn to be selfish and only worrying about their enjoyment for a change and are willing to pay for it NSA. There is at least one review site I know of TER just isn't it.

Let me say at least this mangina would have zero issues with it. In fact my wife has seen a few gigolos, one of which I hired, and TER style reviews would be welcomed by this mangina. Bring them on. Just lets have a box marked male to check to save time for everyone.

TER put it up as a test case. Some men got offended and cried like babies so TER pulled it. It was a BDSM session that I don't recall any penetration in. I posted a link to a thread about it already. It did not indicate sex in profile but did in the review. The reviewer was a woman.

Robbin,

I love hearing that providers enjoy their sessions with women. I have only enjoyed this hobby for a short time, but it is very encouraging to find out that more providers than not not only entertain us ladies, but thouroughly enjoy doing so. I have been with both gay & bi providers so far to the best of my knowledge. I dont think any were gay-for-pay, tho some might have been very good actresses, just as a gay provider would have to be for male clientele. Either way....its all good!

I see that you are based in LV......I am not too far away and travel to Vegas several times a year. I will be looking you up on my next visit :)

and for the record his opinion on the subject really hasn't changed in the last three years.

I don't read reviews for their entertainment value PERIOD, and I certainly won't be reading reviews about male escorts, I can't imagine having any less interest in doing so. I read reviews for the purpose of gaining information before scheduling a date, not to hear about the prowess of the person writing the review. Others I am sure will disagree, that doesn't change my opinion on the subject one iota.

So here's a bonus.  The word "lesbian" refers to the Greek island of Lesbos where, in classical times, lived a famous female poet named Sappho who wrote of the joys of girl-on-girl sex.
I had an old friend of Greek descent whose family came from Lesbos and used to say she was one of the few "real" lesbians.

If so, it does not mean she has not been seeing anyone. I don't get reviewed and like it that way and not short of clients. Reviews or lack thereof are NOT an indication of how much business a lady has. But you were really just being a jerk......
