A review of a man on TER?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this review a man?

http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=181315

Are we reviewing men now? Well, that doubles the changes of a date...

GaGambler442 reads

Us lowly mods have no input where it comes to reviews, but this lowly mod would like the answer as well. This can't possibly be allowed, can it?

FistFullOfFifties350 reads

I just want to know, because we hobbyist could be reviewing each other. Comes in handy in between pay checks.

She scored him according to TER rules, he got a 7, I guess he really was Sadistic (Sidistyk), LOL!

TS/TV are men and they are reviewed by men. Some women are reviewed by women. Why is this any different?

FistFullOfFifties357 reads

They are women with pussy poles. Get with the program.

Having said that, I agree with your sentiments.  I think discrimination on the basis of gender is wrong.

hotplants372 reads

discrimination on the basis of gender is wrong.

But you are clearly confused about what discrimination on the basis of gender means, because what you just said is highly offensive.

Fitgirl275 reads

Clitty Sticks not Pussy Poles is the correct TS
Aficionado terminology ;-)

But the fact he is male needs to be on the profile so we can screen them out, or in some cases like if you are a woman, bi or gay you can screen them in. I don't want to start reading a review and find out its a guy being reviewed. That is just wrong.

hotplants273 reads

If I were to hear, or accidentally read about heterosexuals having actual sex----I would be soooooo freaked out.

That is just wrong.

international4fun289 reads

It is that I am generally a bit horny when shopping to get laid and male on male sex is a turn off. I wouldn't freak or anything but it would kill the mood. I take it that you are a lesbian, correct me if I am wrong, but can you honestly tell me heterosexual sex turns you on?

It is not wrong that they choose to have sex, pay for that sex and review that sex. It is wrong that while shopping for a woman if I get the reviews for a man. Just like if a gay guy was shopping a man and he got a review for a woman. No, reason to freak, but it is a mood killer.

I am sorry if I miss spoke. I don't see what is wrong with two or more of any sex combination doing what they wish to do. I just don't wish to read about some of those things. I have same reaction to some sexual activities between heterosexual couples like golden showers. It isn't my thing, but to those into it, they need their reviews.

We should be able to filter out obvious non-matches like a guy for a straight guy, or a lesbian lady. Or for that matter a lady for a straight lady or a gay guy.

No offence meant by my post. We are all perverts here, none of us should be able to throw stone at the other because we have different perversions. We just should be able to find our own perversions without having to trip on other peoples.

But. I'm confident that none of the  fully red blooded heterosexual men on TER are in any immediate danger of accidentally running across reviews of men.  And, in the rare event they (you) might----I'm sure you will be man enough to walk on by without harm.

oh..and BTW...hetero sex does turn me on; in real life anyway (read that to mean not the crap that passes for porn these days)-----and, so does does gay boy sex....and...well, I course I love women....

I'm a dyke with bad boundaries.

international4fun271 reads

I just think if reviews of guys should be marked in some way like TS. No hate here. I do get we have differing opinions, but that does not make mine shit. Your right tripping on a male review would not hurt me, but it would waste my time. My time is worth something to me.

In fact as long as the reviews are marked as male, I think the reviews are a good idea, like the TS reviews. As long as I can easily tell them apart from the reviews of ladies, it is all good. I don't get your issue with me. I did not have an issue with the review or with homosexuality. I think you are reading things in my posts that are not there.

hotplants174 reads

I do have an issue with your comment: "I don't want to start reading a review and find out its a guy being reviewed. That is just wrong"

And, even more annoying is thinking I would need to explain to you 'why' that is. Because if you were as neutral on this issue as you say you are----you would never have said what you did.

international4fun192 reads

I stand by that statement as my true feelings. But please let me explain.

I under stand why you have an issue with it. You probably have seen some hateful things because of your sexuality. I see how my statement could be considered guy bashing, but it wasn't meant that way. I do have a strong reaction to male gay sex, but not gay men. The reaction isn't to the gender or the gender preference of those involved. It is the anal sex and most gay male sex involves anal sex.

Let me explain why I have this reaction. I will put it blunt, I was gang raped. Three black guys raped me as two black females and two black other guys watched. These guys were not gay they only raped me as revenge for what they considered what my race did to them. At leased that is what they told me. One of them even made out with one of the hos  as the others raped me.

Ever since I have has reactions to certain things. Many of these reactions I am ashamed of, some I am not. Anal play of any kind sickens me. It really doesn't matter the gender of those involved. Reading/hearing detailed descriptions of or watching anal play brings back certain feeling. Feelings that are wrong. Feeling I felt when I was raped.

I have no issues with those that choose this form of sex. My wife enjoys anal sex with her clients and I don't think less of her because of it. I even tried it once but could not stay hard long enough. I wanted to own it.

I do indeed see why you have issues with this statement, "I don't want to start reading a review and find out its a guy being reviewed. That is just wrong". I do too. But it it is how I feel. I do not know how to change that.

You are right. I am not neutral on the issue on male reviews, I support them even if I would find some distasteful as long as they are marked as such. I just do not want to read them. For the same reasons I rarely read reviews of ladies that do anal or rimming, do think they belong. I am glad they are marked so I don't have to. I can skip them. I feel though that the reviews are needed, just like I think reviews of male escorts are needed as well.

I know you likely think I am full of shit. I don't blame you. This is not the first time I have talked about what I am posting. Here are a few links, there are more.

I guess I know I shouldn't have made that statement. It was in bad taste. I did not mean it to be but it is. I just want to say I am sorry. I didn't mean it as a slam and I wish I could recant it. I just can't as it is how I feel. I did not mean to offend even if the statement is offensive. I should not have stated it I am sorry.

I do hope you see this, hotpants, at the same time I hope it is buried far enough so not many others do. If you do see this, do you have VIP?

I do better understand your reaction to the idea. What you experienced is beyond horrific, and you are very brave to share such a painful experience in this context.

And, again---I have no issue with you, or anyone else posting on this board. The rampant homophobia, however, is more than I can tolerate without kicking back.

Having lived with the hate and fear and ignorance of homophobia my entire life; as a young person so brainwashed that I found it impossible to accept my own sexuality without believing I was as flawed as those around me said I was, and later, as an adult fielding every hateful, ignorant comment you can imagine---not to mention the actual discrimination, physical violence and harm inflicted by those operating out of pure fear--- at this stage in my life I have zero tolerance for that level of bullshit commentary.

I have developed what I consider to be a very healthy reactionary attitude towards people who have not yet bothered to think outside of that box. Especially……ESPECIALLY in a place like this, where those very people who would condemn homosexuals are pretty damned far outside of societal approval themselves.

I do not have VIP—but, I’m sure this thread is sufficiently buried as to not be of much interest to many at this stage.

And PS…had I ‘known’ who I was responding to, I may  have gone a bit easier on you (maybe…lol).  Scoed strikes me as a very thoughtful, considerate man. Your alias I don’t know from adam…….i

based on website yes, I'd say that is a man === dom.

And, so what? Do you boys really think your game is the only one in town; or, well....the .only game in every town for everyone?

Seriously, why would you care? Don't like it? Just move along-----as I've heard said a few times.

HonestProvider291 reads

I like where the reviewer said the dude's pussy was "natural".  Haha.

I have to admit, I was more than grossed out by the whole idea of reading a review of a man and felt like vomitting. I've been so accostomed to reading reviews of females that my mind just couldn't connect the two.

turn about is fair play.

I am intrigued.  I think the review is fantastic and gives us a glimpse of that world.  Nothing wrong with reviewing a man...

I can't find anywhere that TER is just for reviewing women and transgender providers. Personally, I'd love to see some reviews of male escorts- not only is if fun to read for me, but it makes it much easier for women here to contact potential male doubles partners if they like their reviews.

Also-  transgender people should be referred to as the pronoun they choose to use for themselves. It is unfair and a bit backward to refer to transwomen as "men."

Years ago that man contacted me . He is into rope domination
and wanted to use his on me. He went into detail about the
fabric and quality of his ropes enjoyed tieing up people and
to have himself tied as well.

Well it was all too intimidating to me not knowing someone
and allowing them to perform bondage on me. I'm not the
type to get into that fetish. So I guess because no one
would let him, he found a way to interact. Like male
escorts in the industry, T/S I see no problem with his
interest . If you can't find someone to play with post to
let them find you . I think hes cool to put it out there like that
at least he is meeting like minded people.

“He has a mind so fine that no idea could violate it.”

...I can't believe nobody reported this to TER until I did.  The OP and all the subsequent posts constitute "a tale told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing..." unless it is reported to TER.

FistFullOfFifties214 reads

If there were a problem to report, someone might report it. Narcing on each other is a long tradition.

I only asked a question. Which no geniuses have an answer.

GaGambler289 reads

You are not the only one who bothered reporting it to the PTB. I just heard back that the review was taken down, and I can confirm that it has in fact been deleted.

My only explanation is sometimes shit slides between the cracks, This is The Erotic Review, not the Gay Review. There is a place for reviews of guys, but this isn't it. Not yet at least. and I hope NOT EVER.

international4fun170 reads

I actually think it is a good idea to allow reviews of men. So why would I care to report it?

About four years ago a provider told me that she visited a male escort and really enjoyed it.  I think he had reviews on TER at the time but I can't recall the name.

Why this shocks anyone is beyond me.

Sure, women don't have to pay for sex, but if they want to to ensure no strings, etc., it makes perfect sense.

It wasn't a mistake from our part. We wanted to see what reaction it would bring.

So should we post male reviews ? Do we want to hear girl's experience?

Of course, form would need to be changed. Maybe we will find a way to keep them separated from the rest of  reviews, so some members .

Courtside200 reads

I see no problem if you have a deal where a female hobbyist is reviewing a male provider and there is a seperate area for this-it should not be included in with typically male hobbyist reviews of female providers-although if a female hobbyist wants to review a female provider that would be sort of cool !  Not intereseted in getting into guy's reviewing guy's if you know what I mean.

GaGambler256 reads

as for reviews of male providers, as long as they are categorized seperately, I don't really see a huge problem, but if this is a yes/no vote, I vote no.

Speaking strictly for myself, I have absolutely no desire to read anymore "male reviews", but since TS reviews are already allowed, this doesn't seem like a terribly large step. I am completely against "hobbyist reviews" for all the reasons that have been discussed many times on TER, and I sincerely hope that is not what is being contemplated here.

and if guy/guy reviews are the issue, I can not think of any words strong enough to express my feeling against such a move. While I have nothing against gay people, gay sex disgusts me and I am vehemently against gay reviews on this site.

international4fun178 reads

Reviews are for businesses not costumers. No to hobbyist reviews.

But I have no issue with reviews of a provider male or female or somewhere in between.

international4fun146 reads

Heterosexuality male escorts are a growing area and there is a lack of quality places to review them. I don't see an issue. I also have no issue with gay reviews but I have no interest in reading them.

I've been concerned with others things more important that TER recently.

There ARE women on TER--mostly observing from the wings. But they ARE there........
