While LE focuses its efforts on busting AMP's in LA, Escort Info Boards in Florida, and Providers all over the country, the serious crime increases, according to the Washington Post:

Murders, burglary, robberies, all up.  But at least people can't share a little love if the local constable has anything to say about it.

I realize I'm painting with a broad brush but believe LE is primarily result driven.  That is to say they get who they can, not necessarily those who most need to be "gotten".  MP's, internet sites and providers are easy targets and an easy way for LE to "pad their arrest stats".

If your car gets broken into, or something is stolen from your garage, for example, they can get downright sarcastic.  It's like, "why are you BOTHERING us?  Just call your insurance company and f**k off!"  

You know, you'd think they'd at least like to know about crime, even if they can't solve it.  We all know they'll NEVER get your car stereo back, but if they are informed that thieves are hitting a certain area, MAYBE (you'd think) they'd appreciate knowing about it so they could increase patrols, etc.  But NO.  That's too much like work (albeit POLICE work).  Also, I guess it ruins their stats when they want to tell the local news that "crime is down."

The nerve of citizens reporting property crimes and thereby diverting police resources that could be much better spent surfing titilating escort and "TBD" websites or setting up honest providers for arrest, blackmail and free sex (during the course of the "investigation"/arrest)!  Yeah, they're just "doing their job," but with a VERY selective eye and a LARGE degree of self-interest.

Cops.
