I've had the pleasure and honor of meeting some ladies and some of the guys.

Of course, the ladies were for obvious reasons. But I've spent off-the-clock time with some as well. Ate, drank, and I had great times. Can't speak for them, of course. Part of their job? Maybe.

I know this sounds fucked up, but I truly believe that the ladies I've seen, and those that I will see, know I'm probably the easiest as far as a date is concerned.

And in the same respect, when I meet some of the guys to get together in LV for instance, they know it's gonna be a ride. I'm me, and I go full balls. I don't 'cut back' because of certain company. I think it's understood the way I am. I drink to excess, and you better keep up.

So, I've teased certain people about what happened when we got fucked up together. Fuck! Almost got arrested the last time!  

Not because of what 'we' did. Just the company that 'invaded' our space! lol!

It'd be cool to hear other stories.

You seem to think pretty highly of your own opinions, which you're also pretty free with, despite the fact that they're usually nasty or condescending.  That's fine with me.  Everyone livens up the board in their own way and for their own reasons.  All in all, it makes the board a more interesting place.  But let's not get carried away about whose opinions should be left unsaid.  I know you didn't say MP should STFU, but you did agree with someone who did, so this is really posted not just at you but at all the nay-sayers..  I don't agree with everything he posts, either.  But I give Mikey credit for his "out there" enthusiasm and try not to judge him for his excesses.  Everyone has a right to a voice.  Everyone also has a right to disagree.  It's the nastiness that I could do without.

There is attack after attack on this thread. It makes me wonder what does it accomplish to go out of ones way and waste the time and energy to post said attacks? Does it make the attacker feel better about themselves? Does it do anything useful? Do they really get a kick out of belittling others or is it they themselves feel little and want company?

I wonder. Just something to think about.

When I first got on TER, I was in a bad place. My wife was allowing me to see escorts and I had no clue as to why but knew something was not right. A bit later I found out she had returned to escorting. I was devastated. My world came crashing down on me, But I decided to stick it out.

I used the boards as a place to vent some of my feelings as I had nowhere else I felt I could share them do to the nature of my issues. I know many of you really dislike that I did so and I was often the target of attack posts like most of the replies on this tread are.

But there where some that really helped me in my time I spent on the boards. Johngaltnh helped me find a way for me to deal with my guilt about hobbying and also shared some stuff that gave me hope for my situation. Allure helped me realize that open marriages could work. Mrfisher told me about CASA and that was a huge thing. Many others also helped me out in other little ways that are to numerous to bring up often with out meaning to. My thanks to all of you.

The person though that helped me out the most on TER is MP67. As I said at the start of my reply when I first started to post, I felt very isolated. My life was a wreck and there was no one at the time I could go to because of the nature of the issues. MP became that person I could go to.

One day I posted this post.

MP read it. He also read my other posts about my life and PMed me and said,

"Hey Shane. I won't beat around the bush. I'm an alcoholic and suffer from depression. I think if we coach each other, we can get to where we want to be at. Know what I mean? It's crazy, I know"

We exchanged numbers and we became good friends. He gave me the listening post I needed. He gave me the support I need and it likely saved my marriage. I have never met him and I know he has his issues but he is one of my best friends. MP67, Thanks, your support has meant a lot to me.

To all those that can't see the man behind the booze, your loss.

Really, maybe there's a different take on this.  Most, if not all, of us partake in the hobby in complete secrecy.  We have some amazing adventures, but can't tell anyone!  I have people that I trust completely to have my back, but I don't trust their stupidity.  I can be sure that if I told anyone of the things I've done, it would get out and completely screw up my life.

So...message boards and anonymous online friends is all we got.  If you don't like reading the stories, skip 'em.

Let's try to clear things up.

First off. Where the fuck did I say that I fuck providers for free? I said I spent OTC time with some. That didn't mean my dick was buried in one of their orifices at any time. I thought it was clear that we meet and have a meal and drinks before we actually 'go on the clock', OR, God forbid, we meet at a party, or a bunch of us, guys and girls, get together and have a good time outside of the realm.

I mean, really? Does this whole thing encompass your life? Is it not possible that a man and a woman that know what the other does, can't actually get together and talk and enjoy each other's company without talking about 'the hobby'? That's sad.

There's some wonderful, interesting, enjoyable people out there. And just because they pay, or get paid, to get laid doesn't mean they're horrible people.

Which brings me to my next subject. The haters.

I wasn't aware to the posts that were written today until some friends of mine texted me. I went and looked and I saw what I expected.

You got Hirogen. And Drunkencunt. And gatorjimmy bashing. It's cool. I expected that. But you have to consider the source, as well.

I'll admit. The board was dead last night. Even the haters, that don't have a positive thing to say about anyone or anything were off jerking themselves off, I assume. Or maybe rubbing one out, because I'm not totally convinced one or more of them are not women.

But in any case, my intent was to show that I'm glad I found this, I'm having fun, and wanted to hear the same. But instead it turned into a bitch-fest.

Well. That was second on my agenda. I knew, if I posted something, said players would throw their two cents in because they're miserable fucks. They hate the fact that they HAVE to pay to get laid, their life is so fucked up no one wants anything to do with them, so they come on here and project their discontent for themselves and every one else.

This is just a theory, of course. But seeing as how these certain people have nothing but venom to  spew when they do post, I'm more than sure that everyone is certain these posters are sad, contemptuous, just plain out pathetic individuals.

I was telling someone just tonight about this. I have accounts I have to visit and service. Sometimes the owner or the manager is so fucking dreadful, spiteful, just plain nasty-hating-the-world kinda shit.

And here I come in. They spew all sorts of fucking crap.

It's 9 in the morning? How bad can it really be?

Anyway, the other people there tell me, 'Don't listen to him. He's an asshole.'

I just say, 'You know what? I got him for 5 minutes. He has to live with himself all day'.

So, like I said. Just making an example out of some of the people that don't contribute anything to the community but hate and discontent. They certainly don't write reviews, so it makes me wonder if 1, they are hobbyists, or 2, providers with a chip on their shoulder.

But then again you have gatorjimmy, who most certainly is a hobbyist with many reviews and is a mod for fuck sakes. You could've hit me upside the head with a baseball bat and I wouldn't be more surprised he was made a mod. No love lost there, and we both know it.

I am also sorry you haven't met any friends here. Maybe it is how you treat people. I would hate to be as jaded as you and limit where I make my friends. Good friends are more valuable than money and I will take them where I can find them. Even on a site about meeting women.

 I have met new friends in many places including church and Titty bars.  Nothing wrong about talking to another man or getting together for a drink or fishing or golf.
 I have been bashed by all including MP.  No hurt feelings just sometime you have to wonder why people take time just to be negeative.  
 I thought the whole point of this site is to tell stories and share with other members. But Half of the time its just a bunch of asses looking to put someone else down.

But, for the most part, I like to think it was all in jest and that the person on the receiving end didn't take it too personally.

Of course there are a few I just can't wrap my mind around. Their twisted sense of fun involves trying to make a human being feel less than what they are and that's not right.

Though this thread's original purpose was to try and bring out a story or two about personal experiences that were outstanding as far as the fun factor, I also couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring out the haters that until recently were so dormant.

I've made remarks like that, as far as punching someone in the throat, and I got moderated. That was quite a long time ago, and I'm not sure that it was an actual threat, or just a suggestion.

In any case, kinda gives me the warm fuzzies that someone else can wish someone else would pick me up and slam my head into the pavement and that's totally alright to go through for everyone else to see.
