A client made an appointment today and because he said he couldn't get his money out of the bank, and I don't take credit cards, he used paypal. Once I checked his references and had recieved notice of his payment, I gave him the OK to come to see me...he was an hour and a half late...But once here, he indulged in all the full-service benefits, then after an hour and 20 minutes, showered, and was on his way. This evening I got an email that he had cancelled his payment...So ladies..BEWARE of this guy...!!! He goes by "Assbusty" and I also have his real name, if anyone is interested...PM me and I will give it to all who wants it...!!! This one is a real piece of work....I've NEVER had this happen, but I guess there is a first time for everything...I learned a valuable lesson, unfortunately, he has ruined it for other paypaler's, Very sad indeed...!!! not only is "Assbusty" a rip off, but an "Asshole" to boot....

sorry to hear you got ripped off... that just aint right...

the reason he was able to cancel his payment.. is because you didnt 'claim' it... you received notice (via email?) that the money was sent.. but until you log in to paypal and claim it.. its doesnt transfer to your account...

you can still use paypal if you want the cc option for your clients... just make sure you handle it responsibly...

some tips for using paypal..

1.. become a verified member... take the time to go through the motions of verifying your email address and bank account...
2.. always 'claim' or 'accept' payments and verify that it has credited to your paypal account...
3.. or set up in your preferences to automatically accept payments...
4.. don't accept payments via a checking account.. it can take up to 5 days for the transaction to clear and during that time the sender can 'stop payment'... (unless of course the payment is made far in advance)

Cancelling a Payment

Q. Can I cancel a payment that I've already sent to someone?

A. You may only cancel a payment if the Status of the payment is Unclaimed and/or the recipient has not yet signed up for PayPal and collected the money.(If your payment is Completed and you want to request a refund, please contact the recipient of the payment.)

We allpay for the jerks of this world. Might I suggest that in the future you complete the Paypal transaction prior to seeing the client. Once that is done the transaction can not be cancelled. That is the positive side of PayPal. The negitive side is that it leaves a very clean paper trail right too you.

Maybe you could also share with others what this guy looks like.  So this way you can still accept other paypalers who don't fit his profile in future.  People can have the same real name.

Transfer of funds, and deposit goes straight to your bank account which requires some form of verifiable identification.  They use it on Ebay quite a bit. The account number, name and ID is what would lead someone to you.

Again, my guess, don't know if it's right or wrong.

Robyn sorry for your misfortune.

This is new to me, so I just won't use Paypal until I can make sure this doesn't happen EVER... I work hard for my money as I'm sure most quality Providers do and earn every penny....This guy has an email addy on aol...under Assbusty3...So feel free to SPAM his ass...OOOPPPsss..!! Did I say that..? Sorry...Anyway...I think this guy may be Military, Buzz-Cut, he said "No"...but at this point who believes him...? In hind-sight, I was a little suspicious, but poo pooed it...(Never again) He whiped his glass after the session and took it to the bathroom...that's never happened before so it struck me odd...brought his own lube, also has never happened...But he left it here...Not as clever as he thought he was I guess..LOL..Sorry, since I know I promised not to post so much here..Guess Rip-Offs strike a cord among us...So it's nice to finally feel some support out there...Peace, Robyn

Assbusty, huh? That sounds like what he needs to be on the recieving end of to me. A good ass kickin'!!! You wouldn't believe all the email mailing list there are out there until you look around just a alittle bit. The possibiblities are endless, ass will be in "in" box. (evil grin)(snicker, snicker)
On a serious note, i'm sorry that you had to experience that. No matter how hard you try to be upfront and honest with people, it seems that there's always one in the crowd that ends up proving the point that some people are just pure scum.

Robyn,  So sorry that happened to you.  I'm sure you feel pretty taken advantage of, but it's only a reflection of him, not you...but I'm sure you know that.

I find that in all of life, 90% of the people are just fabulous, quality people, and, there's 10% in anything that pretty much sucks.  That's just life.

If it makes you feel any better, I once drove all the way to the valley (over an hour with traffic) only to find that my lady wasn't home, didn't answer her phone, and had a full voice mailbox.  Back home I headed.  This, after I showered, dressed, and looked forward to her all day.  Ever try driving with a raging hard-on?!!  Hey, at least you got to have sex LOL.  I feel your pain, and I'm sorry.  Rock on, Robyn.

The guy is obviously a jerk and deserves what he gets but I was shocked to read that you posted his real name.  I'm torn about that because as I said, he deserves what he gets - I've always said "there is no such thing as a free ride," but still a little taken aback that you would post his real name in this forum.

Silky, I wish you all the best in the world and I'm sure you are a great provider and a classy woman but I'd have to think long and hard before seeing you, or any provider for that matter that posted a real name.  Again, I'm not saying you weren't justified but it still freaked me out.

As to the PayPal paper trail - I'm in law school studying privacy issues and can tell you that the information used by PayPal can easily be traced (with a warrant) by law enforcement if they were investigating you.  As others have suggested, use Western Union instead - no one has to use a real name to send or collect.  This is just my opinion not legal advice.

Best of luck to you.

I hope it goes without saying you will sign him up at "interesting" web sites...let's see....

Have a scientologist contact him cause he "requested" it...http://home.scientology.org/

List him on a gay personal's web site, like this -- http://www.gay.com/intro.html .

And I am sure you can think of others.

Dunno if you let him f*ck you in the ass, but here's YOUR chance!

I understand what your saying and I have modified my posts....I've always based my business on honesty and never had to deal with this caliber of individual...So after my initial post to warn other providers, seeing this guy had even seen someone in NYC...I received tons of PM telling to post ALL his info...I clearly didn't think it through...I suppose it's partially because I'm not as "Street Smart" as many others on this Board and just didn't realize the impression I would give other potential clients...My regular clients know that discression is very much a part of the service that I offer. Again, that's one of the reasons that I don't do the Wine & Dine thing, prefering to stay low-key and intimate. I would also add one thing to your response and that is, sometimes men are intimidated by strong assertive women, especially if they feel they can't control them. I'm sure we probably would have not been well suited to begin with, so neither one of us has lost at this point and a potential client, with a pure an honest heart would have nothing to fear from me, but mutual respect and a totally awesome, experience...Thanks for your view-point, I always am open to another perspective... Peace, Robyn
