A caveat first. Since I always use an alias on this board, you can't check my math or otherwise disseminate this info for anything other than what it is. A new topic.

If you had asked me, I'd probably say I was a slightly harsher reviewer than average. It's rare for me to post a 10 in appearance, and even more rare for performance. But something (boredom and comparing my favorites list to my review list) got me looking at numbers. It turns out I'm actually an easier "scorer" than I perceived.

To date, with respect to looks, I have scored 75% of the SWs I've met above their average mark, 20% below, and 5% right on average.

With respect to performance, I'm at 62% above, 28% below, and 10% even with average.

I also realized that I may have a negative racial bias. Most of my below average scores involved reviews of AA providers.

All that said, only 10% of my scores deviated from the provider's average by more than 1 full basis point in either direction. So I guess I'm only fractionally guilty of score inflation.

So, take it for what it's worth. My question to fellow mongers: do you consider yourself an average scorer, more harsh than most, or like me, part of the problem?

More so with respect to appearance than performance. I know that a gals performance positively influences me to score her appearance higher than warranted at times. Most of my performance scores are in line with their average though.

A girls appearance positively influences her performance score from me. I'd rather a super hot girl lie there and let me fuck her rather than a less attractive girl do the same thing and let me fuck her. Performance is directly related to my satisfaction afterwards, right or wrong.

Guilty as charged as well...

Why is it that mongers who score providers higher than average are "part of the problem", but those who score more harshly than most are not a problem?

To answer your question... I've never analyzed my review scores as you have.  But I think I trend towards the average, with some outliers on either side.  I've only given one 10 for appearance, but a handful of 10s for performance because I believe there's many possible kinds of "once in a lifetime" experiences.  And I'm pretty open when it comes to body type, as long as the woman is fit, and healthy-looking.  So I might score someone higher than another reviewer who is more specific about body types that are attractive.

was more tongue-in-cheek than anything else. Just a mild poke at those who rant about overrate providers. If I really wanted to be part of the problem, I'd try to become a TER programmer and come up with more point-based categories. LOL Just kidding, Don't ban me!!!

All this talk of percentages makes it sound so... sterile.

I do need to get laid. No worries though. I'll be ridden hard later today. 😎

know my scoring system.  Its not complicated.

Appearance:    10 = perfection
                            9 = above average
                            8 = average
                            7 = below average

Performance:    9 = above average
                            8 = average
                            7 = below average

Once a girl hits seven, she is below average for me, so no need to rub it in by going down to a 6 or a 5.  Saying she is below average is enough.  I do a lot of research and get intel through PM's with my many hobby brothers,  so I actively avoid seeing below average girls.  I haven't run percentages, and I don't really care whether my own scores are higher or lower than a girl's average scores, because they are MY scores, and unique to the experience I had with a particular girl.

Not complicated at all, and fair. Some guys definitely seem to try to rub it in. The few times I came across a provider actually deserving of  VERY below average, I've passed on the review opportunity to save myself the drama.

Yu have time to ANALyze your ratings/numbers?

They are all subjective AND coerced by TER anyway. Who gives a fuck anymore?

I see where the OP is coming from, but its not a real problem IMHO. The two real problems are people who don't post reviews or those who post fake or prompted (prompted by the provider/agency to post a glowing review). For whatever social pressure reason, and its not a criticism but a social psychology observation, guys will post a higher rated review than they would have if asked by the provider to do so.

Posting a point higher review, or lower, isn't going to make or break a provider. The averages over time will work out.

.... when I did I was a high scorer. Frequently very high.

Interesting the first couple of replies were by aliases so impossible to even look at their scores. Maybe we need to change the name of this  board to the statistics board

I read the reviews. It is interesting to me how mongers and hookers can't wrap their mind around the  different way of scoring that was implemented. The high numbers are no longer about a perfect score but about a  definition of activities and their quality.
All this number talk is bullshit. An 8 is as good as a 9 or a 10 in quality. It just defines activities.

but then I like statistics.  Only took me a few minutes to tabulate my data.  I looked at in aggregate:  A) The average of scores I gave on my published reviews.  B) The average TER scores of those same providers.

The results:
Looks:  A) 7.68  which is 4.0% above B) their TER average of 7.38
Performance:  A) 7.68  which is 2.6% above B) their TER average of 7.66

Which probably says that I'm an average scorer.

I may like stats, but guess my math skills suck.  So, correction:  Performance:  A) 7.68 which is 0.26% above B) their TER average of 7.66

but in  this case, they really are BS. My data population is skewed because I don't review every provider I see. TER compounded this with the new system so providers with a history going back before the change may have a base of higher performance scores.

In any case, this board needed a new topic, even though it's really just a spin on the scoring system.
