about your hobby life or do you keep it entirely to yourself?  I'm pretty sure I know how some would react, but not so sure about others.  I would never discuss it with anyone I work with but outside of that, maybe.  Thus far, I haven't told a sole and I don't feel a great need to but am curious how others feel about it.

I am single so no SO to be concerned about. Talking, texting, or e-mail doesn't matter when or how I communicate because no one will know or care. My voice mails and/or texts are my own business. However my kids and family would be another story so this part of my life is my own.

If you want people to know about your private life, just tell one person.. If you don't, keep it to yourself so you won't have to track down the sources..

I also keep my "civvies" to myself. The way I look at it, one's sex life is one's own business. I don't want to hear about anyone's sex life. Usually it makes me jealous. I don't even LIKE to read TER reviews. I feel odd writing them-- sort of a kiss-and-tell thing. Talking about sex in the abstract has been sort of necessary for me, and I have no problem with that, but as far as letting people in my professional or social life know that i visit a paid provider, I wouldn't even feel comfortable talking about that.

I have a couple of people who know who have known for years. They are very close. They also know that I do this and did Porn because I am a Nymphomaniac and they love me for me! They always have.... Friends (if they are real they should understand). If they are family and they do not understand then they should just accept you for who you are and still love you. That is just love. If they are true friends then it is the same. If neither then .... who knows... You just have to know your friends and family I guess.

I know he does and maybe he suspects I do but nothing is ever, or will ever, be said...at least not by me.  If he ever decides to confide I'll say "good for you, have fun" and that will be the end of it.  I've no need to share this aspect of my life, except through the anonymous vicarity of this board.  In fact I rather enjoy keeping it secret...not too long ago another friend confided he's cheating on his wife and showed me a picture of the girl he keeps on his phone (dumbass); she's butt ugly and I'm internally laughing my ass off thinking "dude, if you only knew what I've been up to and with girls so hot you'd shit yourself if I was stupid enough to keep pictures on my phone!"

It's hard to say, but as far as acquaintances and family, the answer is an emphatic NO.

My best friend and I have known each other for 50 years. I've told him things I never told my ex-wife or even my shrink, and he's shared the same sort of secrets with me.

I used to do a little whoring with my friend from college, but he stopped seeing hookers. I was always a little worried that something might slip out about it and get back to my then wife. Some guys have jobs that require clearances and can't have arrest records. Some have families and shouldn't really be doing this. Some  don't want to risk job loss cuz they work for a company with bs uptight ethics policies and isn't interested in switching jobs.  Not everyone is their own boss or blackmail proof like you.  Not everyone wants the attention drawn to them.  How exactly is it cowardly to try and preserve their job and a stable family/raise their children, aside from the fact that they are cheating on their SO?    Not everyone wants to go up against uncle Sam cuz theres more to lose at the immediate moment.  

Few meaning two people know. My best friend and a family member. I needed to know one or two trusted people close to me knew. I would never suggest they do it, however. But how do you really not suggest it when they see you helping them financially with the income? lol.

I have one friend, who used to hobby a little bit, that knows that I've done it but we really don't bring it up anymore.  I see no value in talking about it and it's rarely even mentioned, between the two of us or about other friends that may or may not hobby.

As for the rest of your points, I already stipulated to most of them in my first post on the subject, People who have a lot to lose like married men, and people with jobs they could lose are quite correctly protecting themselves with their silence, but there are an awful lot of single/divorced guys like myself who have little to lose, cry all day about how unfair the law is, but won't tell their best friend that they patronize prostitutes and then wonder why the law doesn't change. Those are the guys I am singling out.
