It's far from a secret. I lived it, I rembember Collins Ave quite well, along with Harry Hines in Dallas, Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood. The Strip in Vegas and several dozen other places in this and other countries.

Of course I have been at this since 1974, way befor Al Gore invented the internet, and by extentsion, The Hobby. lol

and yes you will need permission to post an ad.

BTW the street action on Collins Ave was in N Miami beach not South Beach, mainly from about Tony Romas south to just past the 187th causeway. I actually lived on Collins back in the 80's

I don't really mean to come across as harsh as I might have sounded, it's just been my experience that most books and authors that talk about "secret societies" aren't worth the paper they are written on. I guess I should wait to hear what you have to say before passing judgement.

when my friends and I went into NY after clubbing in NJ. On our way to Little Italy, my friend drove by the Javits Center and there were 100 girls like you described. Since I was a newbie to NY, I was in shock given their dress attire or lack thereof. I believe it was a few blocks from there and I remember the girl's name too (aren't we supposed to remember our first?) and I wouldn't be surprised if she is part of your book.

LMAO! We are talking about street walkers here right? It's no big secret.  The "combat Zone" in Boston was right up there with the areas that you are talking about for many years. The plot line is pretty simple...

I just finished a manuscript and submitted it to several book publishers, two of them got back to me with contracts.  The book touches on streetwalkers in the late 80s, early 90s and up to 2007.  I got down and dirty to give the reader the truth about what went on out there and in the lives of the players, I was one of the major players.
It is a biography; 90% of what I wrote is true.  I didn't change the names of the girls because they are already aliases and I wanted to give the O.G.s that knew these girls a better mental picture. Remember 11th Avenue in Manhattan when there were at least 100 half naked hookers walking up and down the street on any Saturday night? Remember Queens Plaza in the late 90s?  I even touched on Collins Ave and Biscayne BLVD in Miami's South Beach.  Those were the good old days.

I was just wondering if you guys would be interested in reading about this secret society.  If so I will ask admin for permission to post advertisement of the book as soon as it’s released.

And my first experience was with a street girl just souith of the Javits Center.  After that it was strictly in the houses on the East Side from the mid-30s to about 50th St.  And only in NY.

what you got from the streetwalkers was probably only part of the entire story. Whether you were a major player back then or not, I'm positive you didn't see OR hear even half of what really went on (or still goes on) with the girls. They may have been somewhat honest, but I guarantee you didn't hear it all.

I'd even go so far as to tell you that you were told what you most wanted to hear, what the girls thought you wanted to know, thus keeping the myths, mystique and misinformation active.

I'm not surprised that you got a couple contracts about it. The so-called "secret" society holds morbid fascination for those who

**judge it (and the girls) harshly while defending the men who visit them;
**want to "save" the girls from their sinful lives;
**insist that streetwalkers (all escorts in general) have had hard lives that drove them to this life, and indeed are still taking drugs and abusing alcohol;
**refuse to believe that the girls chose this life after intelligent and clear thinking;
**think that such a life is trafficking and that the hobbyists are exploiting the girls;
**don't believe that it's usually consensual; and
**those who are interested in the sexy parts.

I'd be interested in reading your book, but then I have an escort's view of things. Good luck; you're going to need it against those who will try to tar and feather you for "indulging in trafficking."

...about what went on out there and in the lives of the players….

And you were one of the major players.

Ah…the good old days. Yes. I remember the stroll on 14th street in DC during the 80’s/90’s. Every flavor of gal down on her luck….many just children, really… drugs out the yazzooo. Pimps overlooking to make sure the girls stayed in line, and paid up at the end of night. .

With an endless stream  of ’gentlemen’ rolling though in their expensive sedans, looking for a ‘date’.

How awesome for you to be part of this "secret society".  So romantic…..
