Do other hobbyists give providers gifts?

I enjoy giving small gifts to providers when I meet them. I usually spend around $10-20 on either champagne, wine, flowers, dark chocolates, scented candles, etc. It’s a very small tip compared to $300-400 for the hour. I do it because I like to put a smile on their face.

I guess I am used to doing it when I date. Is this common? Do other hobbyists do this?

I have found that a small personal gift like that (chocolate, flowers (if incall), wine or even a small toy, are greatly appreciated. I think it puts a more personal touch on the session and seems to get me a better future response. I am interested in the providers viewpoint on this practice.

A gift of any sort always makes a person feel special and shows a lady know you've been anticipating your visit; it's not expected and therefore is a pleasant surprise.  Hopefully, she'll have an extra special gift for you as well, if you know what I mean

Chocolates are delicious, and a girl has to watch her figure.  Fruits could be one alternative, taste good and are fun to spread upon each other.  

Wine, champagne and other libations are intoxicating, and a lady must keep her wits about her.  

Flowers are beautiful and fragrant, a gentle gesture which lasts long after you've left and is a pleasant remembrance the morning after.  

I was once given a manicure set in a lovely leather pouch, and I remember the gentleman fondly every time I open the case.

Luxurious note papers, linens, or undergarments might be nice.  

If you're not sure about her tastes, gift cards to a local store also work well (Victoria's Secret, a candle shop, or even a day spa).

Again, by defition, any gift is unexpected and whatever you choose should be accepted gracefully and with pleasure.  Just the gesture of presenting a lady with a gift goes a long way toward building rapport and relationship.  

Again, all of the above IMHO.

I enjoy bringing Godiva chocolates. I ALWAYS have a thoughful and apropos card in the donation envelope. Often that little well-chosen, heart-felt $2 card is a great ice breaker and pleaser.

Flowers or candles are a very pleasant surprise and always brings a smile to my face....but then you know the saying...diamonds are a girl's best friend!

Star gazer lillies or alsta mario's are my favorites. I surprise a gal the first time I come to visit.

I will bring a small gift to an escort I am seeing the first time. As someone noted, Godiva chocolates are good for that, and make a nice icebreaker.

When going to AMPs, I'll bring a gift after I have seen a girl once or twice before, to let her know I have enjoyed her company. Usually then, I bring something more personal, based on our conversation in previous visits, like a CD of some music she likes, or her favorite perfume, etc.

Recently, I took my AFT "off-the-clock" to a nice french dinner and then to the House of Blues for a concert.

Things like this help make your sessions better, because you are more friendly and comfortable around each other.

Champagne is always welcome, as are flowers.  When a new client turns up with both is unexpected and always very sweet.  I love when I client gives me a book (not very sexy, I know but very thoughtful).  When that's happened in the past I've always been very touched, it shows we have a certain understanding and they know I'm not a brainless bimbo!  lol The book thing only works when you've had previous appointments as then you know the provider's tastes.  When you know the provider's size, then lingerie is a sexy and appropriate gift and you know you'll get the benefit of having it modelled for you and peeling it off very soon after
