Homosexual.  Think about it for a second.  These guys that are harsh on the chicks for petty shit like shaving a few years off their real age or marketing under two different names act like jealous little bitches.  They talk about their actions being noble because they are looking out for their "brothers" in the hobby.  So they like men more than women?  They put down the chick's and what she says on these boards  like they're at the hairdresser reading a tabloid whilst getting their nails done or their dicks waxed for the next Bruno Mars concert.   I get the sense that a few of the loudmouths don't even see girls, they just post here and jack off to their own bullshit.

I got news for you boyfriends.  I'm not your brother, I have no interest in meeting you for coffee, this ain't a girl scout campover and I will bone any girl I see fit.  To me the price difference of a few hunskies is meaningless and if it's that important to you, take up bird watching.  As a hobby it's more in your price bracket.

You're taking this too seriously

I agree with you that some of these jackasses bitch more than most women I know, and seem to rarely encourage women on here. They will talk about the one time they met over and over and over again, and the girl/girls in the click seldom go against the grain for whatever reason.

In the short time I have been here I have seen post go from playful to grown men slap fighting like 5 year old girls.

Some on here have a great sense of humor and are always funny read.

I understand what you are saying and if those loud mouths you are talking about were more inviting to playful conversation with the ladies, there would probably be more of them commenting on the boards.

Thick skin, and an understanding that these guys are just looking to argue about anything, will help you skip over the bullshit and enjoy this as entertainment. Don't take it personally.

First of all, while guys use the universal term "bro," no one is really talking about your kind. Unless you got proof to the contrary, i highly doubt any guy here has invited you to drinks or coffee. Perhaps you are confusing it with messages from men in your personal life? You've always been a puzzling "fellow." To this day, I still question whether you are a real hobbyist. You know that behind the wall, I have directly questioned whether you are a male at all. I'm still waiting for the rebuttal or verdict. But I guess you think this is proof: the heavy handed words here. Pretty macho stuff. I'm sure that some girls appreciate it. Calling a community of hobbyists gay is always, ahem, interesting. And insisting you "will bone any girl you see fit" is stating a rhetorical truism so I guess it's either marketing yourself or talking yourself into some closeted confidence. Ted Haggard surely approves of what you've done here.  

And the providers surely appreciate the generalizations/propaganda you make. In fact, the vast majority of girls do not get called out here. Just the sleazy ones. Which brings out the sleazy "fellows." We know that half or so reprisals (at least) are from providers.

Look, the next time you want Bbfs extras or a discount, try PMing/emailing the "girl" to ask directly. I'm sure you're talking to Corrine already. You know how in a workie bar...

...guys drop their voice at least an octave and talk as loud as they can using as much profanity as possible? That's kind of what happens here. When I'm talking to someone face-to-face and he's inserting a variation on the word "fuck" into every phrase he utters, and rails against women in the most derogatory terms he can think of, I just assume that this is the way he always talks, or the way he talks when he's drunk and/or angry.

When thoughts are filtered through a KEYBOARD, I don't assume that this is just how a guy talks. Putting an overabundance of conjugations of "to fuck" on the board suggests that he's deliberately doing it for effect. So, on the board it strikes me as a little harder to overlook, but I guess the reason resembles the reason the guys in the workie bar feel they have to become parodies of machismo.

So, does it follow that all these guys are closeted homosexuals? No. But it means they have some kind of issue with what is expected of their behavior as male humans. Odd. But basically innocent.

There are some good minds on this board, and the nature of the discourse spits out some very interesting ideas that would be unlikely to surface on other forums.

There is a bit of wit here, and with all the craziness, no one complains about colorful language of any sort.

The only danger with this drive to prove oneself more macho the next guy is that at times it causes extreme confrontations. In the bar, it might result in a brawl, or a couple of guys taking it out to the alley. On the board, no one can punch anybody else in the nose, so it takes on a slightly different form of viciousness.

All in all, it's an interesting group to observe and interact with.

I hope sane minds visit often

Assholes and board bullies should never be tolerated on any board and thats is not at all what TER is about.  You know I've always respected you, but I have to disagree with your assessment that some of these douche bags should just be allowed free rein.  Obviously the majority of replies here think the same way.

What you're missing is that you can't label someone a bully in a place you do NOT have to be in. This is not the bus stop and your child is not being beat up for his/her lunch money. It's an insult to those who have truly been beat around when adults who are breaking the law, try to use the word in the same context.  

What I said was threads like this are over done and they won't ever change a thing. This same thing has been posted a million times, it gets some likes, some support, then the next day the board is back to the normal trainwreck it is. Drama sells. Drama gets viewers, and drama turns viewers into members in many cases. Sure, some people run in the other direction, and that's exactly my point. No one is forcing you to post here. No one is forcing you to read any of this, either. You choose to do so, just like I do.  

As for the other stuff... if guys feel a provider is full of shit on anything she says, a review board is the EXACT place to call that out. Would you prefer they go hit her weekly ads? That's not very nice and would be pulled. If you sign up to be a provider, you sign up for the shit that comes with it. Either own your shit, or go cry to admin. There are a lot of posts I would have liked to have pulled that were insulting, but can't do it. If a woman says she is 110 lbs and she is really 150, guys can call her out. If she says she is 20 and is 30, same thing. That is what TER is for. If you don't lie or misrepresent yourself, you really have nothing to worry about.

There are plenty of posters here who comment what an asswipe CPA is...it's their prerogative to do so.  It's also my prerogative to reply, or not.

As well no one is forced to read or post on this or any other board.

As I suggested to Jinxie....he and those who dislike the TER boards are more than able to start their own discussion board(s).  They aren't the first to do so, nor likely the last.  What they will have is a boring sausage fest with similar minded posters.

But some are addicted to these boards....case in point is JLS.  But maybe she just needs TER to advertise herself.  I'm sure that she's quite independent wealthy (as she's commented numerous times), so I guess she just likes to hang out here.  Must be that Corrine is broke.

Troll posting is accepted and tolerated here.  TER does not actually mod troll posts, so here we are.   The problem is there are no other boards that can really replace TER.  Telling people that if they don't like it then they can leave is just an elitist insult added to injury.  It does nothing to improve our little community here.  I would have expected more from you, but since you are no longer in the game (or so you say) then I totally understand where you are coming from with that advice.   Some people will continue to rely on TER for information and advice and there is a lot of that here too.  I would just like to see less bullshit from mindless trolls like ADJ and CCPA.

Troll posting is accepted and tolerated here.  TER does not actually mod troll posts, so here we are.   The problem is there are no other boards that can really replace TER.  Telling people that if they don't like it then they can leave is just an elitist insult added to injury.  It does nothing to improve our little community here.  I would have expected more from you, but since you are no longer in the game (or so you say) then I totally understand where you are coming from with that advice.   Some people will continue to rely on TER for information and advice and there is a lot of that here too.  I would just like to see less bullshit from mindless trolls like ADJ and CCPA.

But that's not up to me. They all would like to live a different life than prostitution. I'm sorry I vented on you yesterday, but my anger was, and is, directed at people who purposely try to beat someone else down. That's just wrong to me. I'm naive that way but I still believe in right and wrong and coming to the defense of those being abused. Yes- even on a fuck board. Funny right?
