Because they feel stupid paying, knowing some dude is sitting at home sucking up that money...

and getting it for free. I would never date whilst providing...I can't fathom having to fk on demand and then have to worry about how sore I am going to be if I screw my boyfriend one too many times that week, nor could I handle that emotionally, but some do.

I think too many times guys assume any man that would have a girlfriend doing this is just either fked in the head or a lazy bum, so that might be why. They can't believe that a normal relationship (them both working and getting along) could be sustained for a long period of time with her in this business.

I'm sure you're right, London. (If you're not always right, you're at least in the ballpark).

I would have to think, though, that it would take a certain type of guy to be married to a provider. One who wouldn't feel jealous about his SO having sex with other guys (which rules out probably 95%+ of all guys), and who's confident about his own sexuality

Was factored into the selection process. What the customer deems as an undesirable trait. Could influence if they decide to patronize the lady's services, as who you keep as a SO, is a reflection of who you are.

If most providers are so cautious about their real identities, I'd hope they aren't discussing personal information regarding their significant others or children with their clients.

Duh...not everyone only sees guys for an hour.

They have sugar daddies and repeat clients they have seen for years, so of course a true relationship is going to form. Many providers are married and WEAR their wedding rings on dates...just like the MEN do. Why should she have to hide, if she is married or attached? I get this is a fantasy and guys prefer not to hear about the drama, but men walk in every date with a wedding ring on...hell, I have had some try to break out pics of the family, and had to roll my eyes.

I agree. I stopped discussing "real" personal details with clients a long time ago.

I found that no matter how long I knew some clients (years or less), the indiscreet ones pillow talk and share your personal business with other providers. No thanks.

I don't have an SO, but even if I did, there's no way in hell I'd tell a client about that.

Anyone who gives even a moment's thought to a provider's personal life, even if brought up by the provider, needs to sit down and think hard about why they hobby....you're not dating. I made enough mistakes early on to know now that loose lips are rampant here.

I find it incredible how much information I learn about other girls from clients. I don't know if I'm more shocked that the girls would tell someone that much (sometimes on the first date), or that the guys would be so nonchalant about sharing that much information, especially since "discretion" is such a big "requirement" for us.

The girls are just as bad. They have no problem spreading rumors, or telling people personal information, that you shared as *friends*. I have actually walked out of doubles, because I was not comfortable with the things the other girl was sharing about people I knew during the appointment.

Either way, it has definitely changed the way I converse with everyone I meet here.

This hobbyist often ends up in the TMI situation

I always end up knowing real names of my regular providers, and often end up knowing waaaaay too much else, as well. Real names, addresses, past IRL relationships (theirs, not mine), past probs with booze or drugs, stuff about current SOs.

I'm afraid I suffer from the same mindset as some of the others: Can't help but be jealous of the bf at home who's getting the same thing that I'm paying for. Knowing how much money some of my regs make, they just have to be making more than the bf; the old stereotype kicks in--if she's making this much, and he's not working while "trying to get funding" for some new social network or some bullshit like that, I immediately think "he's a loser" and "why does she need him when I could give her everything she wants?"

I'm about to have another "first" in the hobby. I may end up at an industry conference where one of my ATFs will be one of my fellow conferees. Do you think I'm not going to be checking him out, trying to see what she sees in him? I hope to hell I figure it out--if I don't, it's gonna drive me nuckin' futs...

I agree, you know what those SO's are getting?

It's definitely not what you "have to pay for".

Those SO's get the PMS, the depression, the drinking problems, the whiney kids, the sweatpants and no makeup, the screaming at you because her mom is being a bitch and it doesn't matter if it makes sense... They get the stress about past due bills, and if they know, the stress of knowing that their wife or gf doesn't know where her next paycheck is coming from or when. They get nights alone while she is on the road, or doing an overnight with someone else.

What they don't get is full hair and makeup, sex whenever and however they want, and they sure as heck aren't getting skimpy little outfits and threesomes every night of the week. Truth be told, the majority of them don't even know, and will never even get to mooch to his hearts content, the way everyone seems to think they do.

The SO's of escorts are getting the same end of the stick that you are when you're at home. Just like you, they've found a person that they connect with, and all the "deal breakers" are worth it to be with her. Truthfully, you guys are getting what the SO's don't, so why let it bother you?

We don't sit here and think to ourselves "you know, that wife of his just sits on her ass all day doing nothing and all he does is support her!" We know better than that, and so do you.
