Essentially you end up paying them no matter what. Some women prefer to have a man as this can be a tough show to conduct alone or some ladies like the independence by not having a pimp and lean towards the agency the legal pimp lol. In the end a woman will choose what's best for her which may be to develope her own skills and possibly go 100% indi I hope that helps.

Not everyone in this business has the ability to let that phone ring off the hook it can cause some serious complications in their lives. How do you explain that Extra phone...there are a lot of loose ends screeners tie up quietly in their *other* life while she lives her real life with families friends husbands children and other businesses.
In the begining theres alot to know to stay safe a good educated experienced screener can get a girl up and running like a pro.
where to stay thats safe, your screener will school you on that.
pro shots who to shoot with, where to advertise and how.

theres a lot to know.
Your screeners first and foremost job is your safety.
after that its all adds up but shes there in place to keep you safe teach you the ropes and allow you the comfort to play in the best of both worlds.

Do you even hobby or do you read everyone else's experience and make your assumption from there.  
There are plenty of high end agency girls who are "professional" in your terms and their volume doesn't impact their lifestyle/goals.

i agree being indy myself never used a screener i like being in control of it all.
But some have other careers and complicated lives theres no time for screening and scheduling or answering an extra phone.

Screeners work to the level you yourself set.
you can answer your own emails gage his personality...
its good to be in tune with your screener. I know her type i know who she wont like if i am questioning it i will ask her. She sees noone unless shes approved them first. Its all an individual thing.
its usually a per call rate small fee or a flat wkly or monthly fee.
some women are just really busy running legit businesses or married in school it is ideal for some but true not for all.

There are plenty of very legitimate agencies out there and women who choose to work through them for any number of reasons.  Agencies, "handlers", pimps, drivers or whatever you can't paint them all with the same brush.

I feel safer knowing someone's got my back. Through networking and studying, I found the screeners I have are legit, professional, and make sure their ladies are treated well... even to the point where consistent douche bags are banished from seeing their ladies. Someone knows where I am and whom I'm with at all times (while I'm working). And they don't take half my income.

You are exactly right, and thanks again for bringing some rational thought here.  There is no "one size fits all" answer to screening.  In my case, I worked for a while as a screener for a very prominent provider.  I did not do all the screening, just the part she found difficult and burdensome.  And I was not paid in $$$, but in what she called "free muff."  One free hour per month.  We ended that some months ago but are still friends.  Yesterday she bought me brunch and mooned me in the restaurant parking lot.  Great gal.

The original poster made the tacit assumption that "Pimps, Agencies and Handlers" are all the same and that the two later terms are just a nice way to refer to the former term, "Pimp". As has been made abundantly clear, that is just not the case. What most people associate with the obviously loaded term "pimp" can in no meaningful way be associated with the relationship that many providers have with an assistant, booker or agency.
