Essentially you end up paying them no matter what. Some women prefer to have a man as this can be a tough show to conduct alone or some ladies like the independence by not having a pimp and lean towards the agency the legal pimp lol. In the end a woman will choose what's best for her which may be to develope her own skills and possibly go 100% indi I hope that helps.

There are plenty of very legitimate agencies out there and women who choose to work through them for any number of reasons.  Agencies, "handlers", pimps, drivers or whatever you can't paint them all with the same brush.

I did my research...

I feel safer knowing someone's got my back. Through networking and studying, I found the screeners I have are legit, professional, and make sure their ladies are treated well... even to the point where consistent douche bags are banished from seeing their ladies. Someone knows where I am and whom I'm with at all times (while I'm working). And they don't take half my income.

I don't have to deal with hagglers, random emails all day, stalkers, or even talking about the awkward things like donations, scheduling, re-scheduling, saying no, charging a cancellation fee, etc. etc. I can just focus on what I strive to do better each day... spend quality time with YOU. (Which I love, by the way...) People tend to take things more seriously when there are repercussions to ditching a date.

I am still independent ... however you want to judge that is on you ... I can choose my own schedule, and I'm freed up for rest time instead of making sure I maintain a relationship. It's really, really nice.

I enjoy the time I spend with a man much more if I have time to rest, groom, and keep myself sane. I feel I can rock someone's world much better when I can hand all that other unnecessary stress off to someone who's ready and willing to do it. Plus, with my big move, I've been a little air-head lately, hehehe...

The original poster made the tacit assumption that "Pimps, Agencies and Handlers" are all the same and that the two later terms are just a nice way to refer to the former term, "Pimp". As has been made abundantly clear, that is just not the case. What most people associate with the obviously loaded term "pimp" can in no meaningful way be associated with the relationship that many providers have with an assistant, booker or agency.

There is a legal point to be made in this discussion. It has been shown time and again that the justice system has quite a bit more leverage in cases involving agencies and go after them more often that independent operators. This is not just to get more providers in one bust. Once you have two or more parties engaged in an illegal activity, I'm referring to the assistant, booker or agency as one party and the provider as the other, you are subject to a slew of very serious "conspiracy" charges that do not pose a threat to the independent. Piling on charges has become a common way to encourage defendants to take a guilty plea and this is a win for the prosecution. I am dumbing this down a bit but the point is that when it comes to the law, an independent may be in a much better position if the shit hits the fan.

hookers will link up with a criminal whom, can flip money on the street well, and in turn theyl relish in the fruits their labor together. very common is strippers come in and are their push their boyfriends product. as well as hook. as up tight and fuckin mary tyler moore as youd like to believe it just aint that way and sex drugs n rock n roll will always go hand n hand,  
   I have seen hookers w "business partners or a "team" abd iuts not a pimp pushn her or takn all her money they are actually qworkin together and makn bank, no ones thgere that doesn't wanna be.

hey maybe they like the abuse and control . and that's their right and that's what makes the world so fuckn cool that we don't all have to be the same or have the same brain and evry one, every one ius fuct up in their own little ways and its usuallythe ones that think they are "normal" and above others or know it alls who r the biggest demented fucks. some those ladies may hav been abused and to them feelin neglected may be more comforting than a romantic kind boyfriend,  
and some have severe mental illness which drove them to this life, and they aren't capable of takn care them selves and actually need the sctructure and some one to have their back. doesn't make them bad people ,.
