My boyfriend is turning 30 in Feb and I want to give him a very memorable birthday.
Guys turn back time and imagine you are 30...what would you just love for your girlfriend to do for your 30th birthday. I have a budget of 1K. Would you want to party or spend a weekend away just the 2 of you getting sexed up like crazy? Sports event...I need ideas pleeeeeeease.

The first thing that comes to mind would be something involving speed or something that take you past any control. Some sort of ride along in a small aircraft. The two of you, hunched together, flying through the air... that would be pretty amazing. Intimate, scary, thrilling. Can you imagine the sex after an experience like that? Intense. I seriously doubt ride alongs are available for serious planes, but they do it for gliders and the view is amazing. Depending on where you’re located, it might be do-able.

Sex is always great, but if he is into football take him to a playoff game or the super bowl. It maybe too expensive to get into the game, but sneak into some of the events surrounding it. A little danger and excitement. If he is into something else, then go to one of those events and do the same. Then have sex some place memorable and he will never forget.

The problem with a sporting event is that while I enjoy getting really nice seats to my favorite sporting event, you cannot control how the game will go.  Nothing spoils the mood like an old fashioned shellacking like the Eagles did to my Redskins this year.  Though I suppose that you could turn that anger and aggression into some mind-blowing sex

I would prefer a weekend away to a place I've never been to before.  That way every time you see the place in a movie or on TV you will fondly remember all the things you did with each other while you were there.

Along that note, a hot air balloon ride from winery to winery in Napa might fit the bill

Guys bond through shared experiences, the actual doing of something together instead of just watching.  February is a tough month since the cold weather may limit outdoor activities.  If you both ski, a skiing weekend would be great.  If you like snorkeling can you get somewhere warm enough for a weekend of that?  You can get in the water with dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center.  

Watching a sporting event is only special if he has a favorite team that's not in your city, like the Knicks or the Celtics if you don't live in NY.  If his favorite hockey or basketball team is in his hometown, he's likely been already, so it's nice to go again but not really special.  If he likes college basketball, the end of season conference tournaments are the first week in March and you might be able to get semi-finals and finals in your price range.

Take him to a swingers club and the the two of you put on a show for the crowd. You might be surprised what happens before the night is over.

Your idea of a weekend away is great; a room with a jacuzzi can make things even more fun.   For stuff to do when not having sex, consider some of these:

A non-sexual couples massage is always great.    Depending on the man, he might enjoy some additional pampering, like a body scrub or foot massage.  

There are some places where you can go to a NASCAR or other race track and drive race cars or exotic cars.   I can't imagine a man who wouldn't enjoy that.  

Some major cities have food and wine tours that take three or four hours.  You can find a bunch on www.goldstar.com  You pay one price and they take you around to several different restaurants for food.  

You could take some pole and chair-dancing classes, buy yourself some cool outfits and stripper shoes, and give him a great dance.  I used to love it when my former girlfriend did that for me.  

Provide him with a tantric "sensory awakening" ritual.  You can do it yourself.   You can probably find instructions on the internet somewhere.   It involves getting him very relaxed, him wearing a blindfold, and you teasing him with various tastes, sounds, smells, feelings, etc.  

A lot of men that age are still into video gaming.   Buy him a couple of new games and play with him.
