Goldie, do you know if your client submitted a review on this provider so other hobbyists wont make the same mistake of re-booking with her? Why is she being protected and not outed if she ripped him off and physically hurt him with the pepper spray? I wish this board would be more proactive on immediately reporting bad behavior like this so no one else has to be a victim

But it's not always lack of research that can get you into hot water.
A very good friend and client stopped by recently and was a little distant at first. I asked if he was okay and he said he was still a little gun-shy from his last date which went as bad as it could go almost. We spent some time talking about what happened and I can't believe it.
A provider he had seen several times who he knew a lot about from the time spent made a date with him. After chatting we decided the first red flag was that SHE contacted HIM after quite a silence. He went to meet with her and they went along like older times. He mentioned she had thinned but still was great... until they got to the room. that's when shit hit the fan. She circled the room and then went to the bathroom (she had pocketed his pone while circling the room). When exiting the bathroom she empties a can of pepper spray into his face, took his money (the donation) and ran. He tried to stop her and called out for help but she got away. The police came and they came to an understanding that "something" happened but nothing he had liberty to put in a report on (wow, nice cop!). Other guests in nearby rooms had to be evacuated and relocated due to the pepper spray traveling thru the fireplaces into other nearby rooms.
There is no good part really to this story. My friend is still having respiratory issues form the spraying and is saddened by hat happened. He is recovering and realizing that he got very lucky (especially since the hotel room was two rooms and his wallet and other valuables were in the next room). A lot of business and account info was in his phone but he locked it out so even if they charged it, it can't be registered again.
There are a lot of risks with the hobby. It's sad when someone who you KNOW would turn on you and hurt you, abuse your kindness and take a pleasurable thing and associate danger and fear with it.
Not everything is about research. Someone you KNOW and LIKE might flip a switch on day. Sadly, him and I both suspect drugs were a cause of motivation for her attack.
Everyone please play safe.
