Dear Discreet,
A woman who knows how to connect in a loving way, even for a brief moment in time, is a gem. She is good at what she does, and through her reviews she will know it is a valued part of her service and will grow as a provider and as a person because of the feedback.
You are right in that reviews typically are not "Dear Diary" truthful. Often men are caught up in "locker room boasting" - she gets more amazing in the re-telling. But hey, knowing that we can still learn things from reading the review.
Many men subscribe to the "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" philosophy of reviewing (or not reviewing in that case). We can learn to read between the lines on that as well -- If she has no reviews, maybe it is a little risky to see her. (Or, she's new, and you are an adventurer and willing to TOFTT.)
Asking for reviews, or writing reviews - that's the nature of the game. We all rely on them - men and women.
Reviews are not all a pack of lies. The truth can be in there too. And it is VERY helpful to everyone involved when a gem is revealed.
