Hi guys I am visiting later in the Month of Aug-Sept. I am looking for some advice on areas to stay, Also I am told that you gentlemen down this way are a little more refined than other boards, so I sincerely want to ask a question,

I was recently asked to go on a trip outside the USA with a gentleman I had not seen before, he boosted that he travels a lot around the world and he wanted a companion for a week , 24/7 . I quoted a price as I did not know where to start I quoted quite high thinking he would advise his budget and we would work out an arrangement. Well he replied pointing out that absurdly high price and said goodbye. I wrote back saying please make an offer and we will see what we can work out. His second reply was , I have got replies from playboy and penthouse pets from all over the world who will come for free, just to enjoy the holiday. I am that out of touch that there are Playmates who will work for a holiday. I may just give up. LOL.

My DIRECT rates are $$$$ so I know thats high, but its a filter I use to eliminate the time wasters. But I really am interested in anyones thoughts.

If there are playmates that will work for a holiday - pass them along !!!!   I am coming into San Diego on business and staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt - there are a lot of conventioneers there that week, might be a good spot.  Hey - you are welcome to use my room : )

It was not a boost (boast)--- There were 11 replies to date of which 3 have been in either Playboy or Penthouse --- and of the 11 there were 2 responses that said they would go for no direct donation--even though the post mentions Reasonable Donation--- Her published rate is $1,500 per hour and she offered to reduce to $300 per hour or a total of $7,200 per day with small discount--total $48,000--yes Forty Eight Thousand Dollars---Based upon her reviews and e-mails she would be a fantastic date and if she offers $$$$ for an Hour I would try to be the first in line!!!

If he's looking for a free companion, why is he chatting up women who make their living (i.e. charge money) for being companions?
There are a lot of women who would be glad to accompany him for free, but they're not escorts.

You're pricey and he's cheap.  One word for you both: "Next!"

Well, I suppose that if I offered a young lady a free vacation in Europe or Australia, she'd be willing to accompany me as a traveling companion at no charge.

But other than an occasional dinner date and possibly doing some of the tourist stuff, I don't think after hours activities would be included without some compensation-unless it was someone whom I had established a good relationship with previously.

I'd suspect that his offers of "free" companionship extend to having someone to chat with on the flight, maybe see some of the sights, and share a dinner or two. That isn't unreasonable. Expecting a 24x7 play partner in exchange for a plane ticket and room/board is cheap.

Honestly, if you really wanted to travel, you could easily save the money and just travel.

how many guys will respond negatively on the boards or in an email about a providers rates. You have the right to ask whatever you want. If the price is not to his liking, then he should say "thank you but that's not within my budget", wish you well and move on (at least that's what I've done in the past). I never understood why someone would get upset over this.

In regards to your question about Playmates working for a "holiday" - well, I'm not saying it doesn't happen but I think it's pretty rare in this industry. I think I have more experience then most when it comes to spending days or mini-vacations with providers.  I prefer extended dates these days. Recently, I flew a provider from the midwest out to Vegas for a long weekend date. I paid for everything including her airfare and agreed to what I thought was a fair companion rate of $2000. We had an absolutely fabulous time.

It just becomes a battle of wills at some point:  She thinks she's got the golden vagina, and he thinks she should be so impressed with his wealth and accomplishments (virility symbols) that she should be honored to get to hang out with him as arm candy.  I'm not saying this about these Sky and Mr. Bigg in particular, just a general statement of the two roles.  It's the typical trophy wife hunting roleplay.  Which is why the trophy wife thinks she should have the Mercedes and the house for spending 5 years at Neiman Marcus keeping pretty for her man, and developing no other marketable skills to be a self-sufficient human being.  Okay, big tangent.  Just had a flashback.  Sorry.

Anyway, you can ask a buddy to work on your car for free, or help you move out of your apartment.  But not if they own a garage or a moving company.  It just crosses the line IMHO, unless you've got a really deep relationship already.

To sum up, it's not gonna happen, or if it does, you'll be fucking miserable.  Move on and find a compatible match.

I was curious to see the view of others, I generally take the view that longer bookings 3 day plus are all a matter of calm chatting over the amount until all are happy or at least made an attempt, I never think theres a need to insult, I never write to a gentleman, "sorry you have no cash , get another job"  Different strokes for different folks. Im not sure I am golden, I try my best and yes I am not for everyone. I guess thats why there is TER and you can see the reviews. Value is always subjective to your current position you find yourself in life and your own thoughts, I would never condemm anyone for their opinion, but there is no need to attack a girl either for her rates. I recommend that you stay at any one of the local colleges or universities and enroll in summer business classes because as a business person, in my humble opinion, your quotation exposes your ignorance of business knowledge:
(Don't be offended yet, ignorant just means that you simply haven't been exposed to certain knowledge yet. It is not a judgment as to your mental capacity. You should take these courses:

1) Economics-The price for a service is set by the market based on the demand for it and the supply available. NiceGuy says he paid between $27.77-$41.66/hr in an east coast market. Based on your advertised price my computations state that you are located in a Federal Penitentiary that houses only Millionaire hetero male Viagra addicts.
2) Marketing-Find out who your potential customers are and base your advertising on their spending habits in order to generate more sales from them. Your failure in this subject is so grotesque because you are not only eliminating "time wasters" but a HUGE chunk of potential one time and long term customers (that won't ever contact you at that price) because you you're too lazy to screen 'em out. (I don't know you but I challenge you to defend this one)
3) Finance- Make sure you're taking in (and will be taking in) more money than you're spending (and will be spending). The cost of your trip to San Diego will most likely be greater than your sales, for now.
5) Management: Successful negotiations will result when both parties think they got a square deal. How can your customers think that they are getting a good deal when they have to start with a price that is not double, not triple, not even quadruple but FIVE F-ING TIMES higher than the standard? Answer: when they counter offer you must come down & quick.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST
4) Ethics- The principals of conduct governing an individual or group. Do you get 1500/hr or not?Your admittedly false high price indicates that your principals don't include, or at most, give a very low priority to HONESTY.
Case in point, I also call your opening statement about "being told the gentlemen down this way are more refined than others" into question (actually 3 questions).
1)What is your definition of refined?
2) What bone head told you that?
3)Why did you believe what they told you?

Actually my rant was more aimed at Mr. Bigg.  I have a special disdain for dick-swinging power guys that make a hobby out of seeing if they can swing a deal (free is the ultimate coup) by flashing their shit.  This guy is forgettable.

As for the trophy wife role I mentioned, that's pretty much ingrained once girls start playing with Barbies.
