I was curious to see the view of others, I generally take the view that longer bookings 3 day plus are all a matter of calm chatting over the amount until all are happy or at least made an attempt, I never think theres a need to insult, I never write to a gentleman, "sorry you have no cash , get another job"  Different strokes for different folks. Value is always subjective to your current position you find yourself in life and your own thoughts, I would never condemm anyone for their opinion, but there is no need to attack a girl either for her rates. I recommend that you stay at any one of the local colleges or universities and enroll in summer business classes because as a business person, in my humble opinion, your quotation exposes your ignorance of business knowledge:
(Don't be offended yet, ignorant just means that you simply haven't been exposed to certain knowledge yet. It is not a judgment as to your mental capacity. You should take these courses:

1) Economics-The price for a service is set by the market based on the demand for it and the supply available. NiceGuy says he paid between $27.77-$41.66/hr in an east coast market. Based on your advertised price my computations state that you are located in a Federal Penitentiary that houses only Millionaire hetero male Viagra addicts.
2) Marketing-Find out who your potential customers are and base your advertising on their spending habits in order to generate more sales from them. Your failure in this subject is so grotesque because you are not only eliminating "time wasters" but a HUGE chunk of potential one time and long term customers (that won't ever contact you at that price) because you you're too lazy to screen 'em out. (I don't know you but I challenge you to defend this one)
3) Finance- Make sure you're taking in (and will be taking in) more money than you're spending (and will be spending). The cost of your trip to San Diego will most likely be greater than your sales, for now.
5) Management: Successful negotiations will result when both parties think they got a square deal. How can your customers think that they are getting a good deal when they have to start with a price that is not double, not triple, not even quadruple but FIVE F-ING TIMES higher than the standard? Answer: when they counter offer you must come down & quick.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST
4) Ethics- The principals of conduct governing an individual or group. Do you get 1500/hr or not?Your admittedly false high price indicates that your principals don't include, or at most, give a very low priority to HONESTY.
Case in point, I also call your opening statement about "being told the gentlemen down this way are more refined than others" into question (actually 3 questions).
1)What is your definition of refined?
2) What bone head told you that?
3)Why did you believe what they told you?
