FWIW I hope Obama does not take Fred's advice. It actually makes a lot of sense, unlike you.

I hope Obama picks someone like John Edwards or even better Cynthia McKinney, can you imagine that whacked out cunt just a heartbeat away from the presidency? McCain would win in a heartbeat.

I think David Chappelle called it years ago. If you are going to be the first black president make sure you've got a mexican as a vice president. I think Richardson is the logical choice. I just hope Obama isn't smart enough to agree.

there's a lot of them.   He's a reluctant but talented fighter and politician, and he's not too proud to end a war by marrying the enemy's hot daughter.  A miscegenator after my own heart.

He may be too rough to be the obvious politician, and while I like that too, he might default to Richardson.

One of the strengths of the Democrats is that they are all the cats and dogs, and if Obama or any of his hires can organize that, he can draw on a lot of skills.

I suspect obama might want to put together a campaign team of people like Richardson, webb, and even Hillary and Mccain, to make it clear there are roles for all Americans who have a lick of sense, and don't spend their time worrying about dipshit, or ranting about kaffiyehs in dunkin donuts, or talking about executing other americans  to intimidate them, or sending the neighbors' boys  to war to fulfill biblical prophecies.

Some good could come of this, if for no other reason than already we're so far in the hole that random movement is more likely to be up, than down.
