The so-called "sovereign citizens" make no claims with regard to religion. Nor are they right wing for that matter. Why do you constantly insist on making something seem like something it is not?
Furthermore, to date, this is the first time anyone associated with this group has committed murder. Do these TWO individuals represent an entire segment of society? If that is the case, lets just ban all liberal left wingers since Laughton was a left winger. He killed some folks too, remember?

paints a picture of a bunch of church goers who blow people up. Any movement or group has an ideology that they organize around. That ideology, typically can be traced to a philosophy, theology, world view, etc. To hold such doesn't require one to go to church. What makes someone Christian is not just what they believe, but how they live their life. If someone has an ideology connected to a theology, in this case extremely loosely connected, but doesn't participate in any kind of religious or worship services, I would question how valid it is to call them Christian.

The problem with this logic is that there is no correlation to a member's action being sanctioned by any group he/she may belong to or even be associated with. Remember when Osama endorsed Obama? We certainly wouldn't apply your logic to that scenario would we.
